People don’t always realise this, but there’s a huge difference between someone sticking needles in you and a trained acupuncturist providing real acupuncture.

Becoming a licensed acupuncturist takes 3 years of full-time study, hundreds of hours of clinical training, and rigorous certification exams. We study anatomy, physiology, pathology, and traditional Chinese medicine to ensure treatments are safe, effective, and personalised.

Anyone can claim they “do acupuncture,” but if you want true, professional care, always choose a certified acupuncturist. Make sure they have the correct accreditation with the local authority for piercing skin, as well as being accredited with a authority, such as AAC (Association of Acupuncture Clinicians), like I am! Your health and safety are worth it. 💛

I work with lots of couples facing infertility and often times needing to look down the route of IVF, as part of their role within South Yorkshire, the ICB are currently looking at funding and options offered, this form is for anyone to register their opinion on what might happen, it's looking like there might be a change in number of rounds offered, which makes it even harder for some people and might take away the dream of a pregnancy and family totally.

How is it May already?! What a glorious few days we're having. As we work out way through bank holidays, abd head towards summer, my appointments will become limited as I try to balance everything, if there is a certain day/time slot you like let me know early and we can schedule you in for a few slots in advance ❤️

Today is the start of the easter holidays for most of us, as usual I'm working less over the next two weeks to try and spend more time at home ❤️ I have had a cancellation for Wednesday this week at 12pm if anyone would like to take it, that's pretty much my last available appointment until 22nd April

I got to do the part of my job that I absolutely find the most rewarding today, I got to meet the newest member of a family and their final jigsaw piece ❤️ often times I get the opportunity to work alongside families whilst navigating a trying to conceive journey, and sometimes this can be on multiple occasions meaning that we spend a long time in each other's company. I love when clients keep in touch, send me news that their new ones have arrived and sometimes I'm really lucky and they come for a visit ❤️💙 I'm almost 10 years in practice now, meaning I've got to meet a lot of little faces, they're all so very special and all have a little space in my heart, what an absolute privilege it is that I get to call this work 😍
