We’ve enjoyed playing a few games of musical bingo this afternoon, and we had lots of winners! Well done everyone!

The weather has been gorgeous today so some of our residents wanted to have a sit out in the garden and get a bit of sun! We also had music, games, jigsaws and magazines to choose from to keep us entertained but it was just lovely to be out in the fresh air! And now for ice cream cones and drinks!

At Wood Care Group, we believe caring for people goes hand in hand with caring for our planet. 🌍 Today, on Recycling Day, we’re celebrating the small steps we all take to make a big difference—recycling, reducing waste, and reusing wherever we can.

Our environmental strategy includes solar panels, electric vehicles, led lighting, staff training to name just a few initiatives.

To top off St Patrick’s Day, this afternoon we have enjoyed Guinness tasting, and have also enjoyed trying some Irish whiskey cake!

🍀 Happy St Patrick’s Day! 🍀
We have started our St Patrick’s Day off with a quiz to give our brains a workout this morning! Plenty of residents joined in but Brenda pipped everyone to the post with 8 out of 10 correct answers - well done Brenda!
Afterwards we took a vote to either watch a Riverdance show, or to listen to traditional Irish music, but Michael Flatly and co won! We even attempted to join in with a bit of armchair Irish dancing ourselves too!
