Some of our residents have enjoyed a calming sensory session this afternoon. Our sensory feely bag has some new additions in it, which our residents enjoyed exploring. We also played with our fidget widget toolkit, and some residents had fun with a jigsaw!

This morning we have been getting crafty and have been making some Halloween tea light holders. We used different coloured tissue paper to paper maché the outside of a jar, and once dried we will be drawing faces on them to make them into pumpkins, ghosts and monsters. We can’t wait to see what they will look like!

🌟 Children in Need - Friday 14th November 2025!! 🌟

This year, Children in Need’s theme is to “Challenge Yourself”, based around the number 25. So on Fri 14th Nov, from approx. 10.30am, as well as wearing something spotty for the day, we will be holding our own 25 song Sing-a-thon to raise money for such a worthy cause! Everyone is welcome to join in with our fundraiser on the day, or if you would prefer to donate, details are below.

🌟 Children in Need - Friday 14th November 2025 🌟

For Children in Need this year we will be having a spotty day, and everyone isencouraged to wear something SPOTTY for the day!
We will also be holding a special fundraiser on the day so look out for more info!

Our residents always love a game or 2 of bingo so today we played musical bingo for a bit of a change. As always, well done to our winners!

Don't forget on Friday 31st October we will be having our Halloween party with entertainment from singer Kevin Kitchen from 2pm - fancy dress is encouraged!

And Denise Johnson will be back to perform for us on Remembrance Day, Tuesday 11th Nov, from 2pm.

This morning we have been getting the home ready for spooky season and have been getting our Halloween decorations up, including the paper chains made by our lovely residents! 🎃

🎃 Halloween Raffle! 🎃

We are selling raffle tickets for our Halloween Raffle! Tickets are £1 a strip and are available from Activities Coordintor Jo, or Nicki on Reception.
We will be drawing the winning tickets after our Halloween entertainment approx. 3pm on Friday 31st October!

To top off our Tickled Pink Day we have enjoyed some pink lemonade and have joined in with a pink quiz! Well done to our Tickled Pink Quizzer champ, Molly, who was really happy with her pink prize!
