As our recent summer Fayre was a great succeess, we are busy planning for more future fundraisers and events and are would love your help! We are looking for donations of new items to use in hampers and as prizes, any little helps! ( as a certain supermarket chain says!)

We've enjoyed an arty kind of morning today and have been getting a head start on preparations for our Macmillan Coffee morning, which is coming up on Thursday 25th Sept, 10.30 - 12.
Residents have chosen from lots of different art materials to make their own bunting for the coffee morning, and have had a free choice with their own design, just leeping to a green theme to support Macmillan!

We have enjoyed having lots of friends and family visit today, and have also been looking through our collection of Memories of Barnsley magazines and reminiscence books this morning. Thesse have lead to conversations about our residents memories of their National Service days, and the celebrations in the community and around Barnsley when the war was over.
