Shaftsbury House Specialist residential and respite care for adults with learning disabilities The majority of our rooms are wheelchair-friendly and we have a lift for access.

OUR HOME

Located in a suburb of Barnsley, Shaftsbury House offers expert care and support to help people with learning disabilities lead more independent and fulfilling lives. We have eight long-term residential placements and two respite rooms for short stays. We enjoy welcoming new people into the home and there is a warm, positive atmosphere.

ACCOMMODATION

Shaftsbury House has 11 individual bedrooms, spread over two floors. Each room has its own toilet, handbasin and built-in wardrobes. One of the rooms is a bedsit-style apartment with its own kitchen and wet room, which is ideal for rehabilitation and preparing residents to move on.
