Well what can I say, we had the most amazing visit from church hoyland this week, you could clearly feel the love and emotion within our room, the atmosphere was amazing, and both our residents and staff really enjoyed the service, I can not thank nicky and mum to our lovely staff member ruby for introducing the church to us, I can not wait to visit their church in person in the new year, also thankyou for your lovely food and gifts too, we are so grateful beyond words🥰

Our paul received a lovely visit from his daughter kim, who had travelled from Stockport to gift her dad some early Christmas gifts, including a special canvass of paul and his great-grandson Harry, special memories captured like these are simply priceless, it was so lovely to see you as always kim, and thankyou for the lovely act of kindness you performed too i am so grateful🥰

We received a lovely visit from to come perform a carol service for our residents, how lovely it was, and our home thoroughly enjoyed it too, and these images says it all, and such a special touch to receive these amazing personalised hand made Christmas cards too that were designed by year 5 pupils, thankyou so much for giving up your precious time and come to our home to share it with us, we will look forward to 2026 to arrange more lovely visits from your school🥰

A big thankyou to our lovely residents and families that attended our coffee morning this week☕️🍰, we know how this time of year cam be very busy to say the least, however I am really grateful for you sharing your time with us😊, it was so lovely to see our john.B, Eric.k and Eric.s making those special memories with their loved ones, and not forgetting our maureen.s,malcom.g and also rose enjoying a treat or two too😋, and lastly thankyou to everyone that purchased our sweet treats and contributed to our residents activities funds, it really means so much🥰

So over the last ten weeks have been running a cookery class we have had the pleasure to attend, last week our term ended while the new year, however we were so privileged to be asked to attend their Christmas community three course dinner, taking along our residents sheila,brenda and john who is with us on short stay respite, wow!!! What a lovely time we had, the atmosphere was fabulous and the food was absolutely delicious, over the last ten weeks I have shown my gratitude on how caring and welcoming Lisa and staff have made us so welcome, but you can clearly feel the relationships they have built with the community is so comforting to witness,
Our residents informed me that they had a lovely time too and was so grateful, and the waiting staff was so professional and attentive😊,
It was equally lovely to see our sheila catchup with her friend beverley once again, and myself also bumped into two lovely ladies I had not seen for quite some while, lovely Joyce and gwen,
Thankyou from the bottom of my heart to all involved
Your a credit to your company👏👏

We welcomed Hoyland Community Choir into our home once again,and what joy bert and his choir attendants brought, it was so lovely to see brenda( who as attended our knit and natter class on a few occasions) with them too😊 you could definitely feel the love in the room❤️, again we enjoyed an extra special treat with three solos renditions including Chris the organist🎹🎼🎶, what an absolute talent👏, it was equally lovely to tears in our audience,however in a comforting good way,
We are so privileged that you shared your time with us,
We will look forward to your next visit,hopefully very soon

Look who's coming to town🎅

On Wednesday 24th December(Xmas eve) santa will be stopping by at our home to see who as been naughty or nice, including a meet and greet with santa himself,10.30-12pm situated within our home,
We have admission tickets with limited availability to buy at just £1 each

We are looking forward to seeing you at our home tomorrow to get together for some lovely chat, a warming hug in a mug☕️, and not forgetting some delicious treats too🍰😊, and more importantly to hopefully raise funds for our residents activity funds, your support means the world to us🥰

Good morning from Hoyland Hall, just a reminder that this coming Thursday 18th December, we are holding our coffee morning within our home, you are more than welcome to come join us for a lovely get together, some comforting chat and maybe a sing along too with some festive tunes being played in the background🎶🎶

Again all proceeds being raised will be solely contributed to our home resident funds,
