We made cute paper roses🌹, in preparation for valentines day, a lovely group activity with a few of our lovely residents, and not to mention the amazing support and lovely conversation, A big thankyou to our Barnsley College student oprah, Cath(and sister to our janet) and carol(sister in-law to our peter.e) for showing your caring support too🥰,made extra special with your presence
Our residents thought they turned out really lovely, and i am sure they will spread a little extra love with-in our home as always❤️❤️❤️

A lovely birthday afternoon tea treat for our malcom.g and his family following his recent birthday🥳, it was so lovely to witness them reminiscing about past times whilst looking at images, but most of all, making those special memories to cherish, we really hope you all had a lovely time,

Prep and pamper for our lovely residents with a serving of Irish coffee from our hostess with the mostess for our lynda and edith while they were busy knitting away,served by our lovely Diane, you can see love was in the air with some pre-valentines colouring💕,red was also a popular colour chosen by a few nail colour choices💅, our peter.e had a fresh trim with our in home hairdresser✂️, and a few of our lovely care staff discussing their chosen destinations of choice at our home bus stop🚏🚌🙂

We are currently looking for 2 Domestic Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team at Hoyland Hall Care Home.

✨ Role details:
• 2 vacancies available
• 3 shifts per week
• 18–20 hours per week each
• Duties include cleaning, laundry, and helping to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for our residents

🥰 What we’re looking for:
• A reliable, caring, and hardworking individual
• Attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Experience in a care environment is helpful

A few of our lovely residents gathered together, i recommended my choice of film 🎥🎞, An animation of a touching story about family, war,victory, but most of all love❤️
I was slightly sceptical at first,and wondered if out residents would appreciate my choice, however how wrong I was, they really enjoyed it and all their personal feedback was of enjoyment🙂

I really love this film, I chose it through recommendation from our carer Oriana a while ago, and also a special mention to our lovely Monica too🥰

Would also like to thank Marcus for your kind donation and providing the tools for this memory activity i performed using colour, co-ordination and resolution, our residents peter,e,Maureen.r,Eric.s,malcom.g,Joan.f,jack.g,Betty gave great input and I am so proud of their efforts👏,
And lastly, a lovely visit for our peter,from his sister and brother in-law.

Well there's nothing better than the smell of freshly baked homemade bread 🍞🥪
Such a lovely activity, for more reasons than one, coming together as a group, reminiscing about our residents different methods they used whilst informing me when they used to make theirs for their own family's, discussing different textures and how they would rescue if it wasn't the right texture, and most preference of bread makers,but most of all, their faces when they would talk about the smell of the bread coming out,and their preference on toppings,
A lovely review from residents and staff on the finished product and how they turned out, and most importantly great reviews on taste too🙂

Our lovely Peter celebrated his special birthday today with his nearest and dearest with a delicious afternoon tea 🥳🍰☕️🫖 Thank you to Diane for preparing this with so much love and care. Our malcom had a lovely day yesterday, a big Thank-you for his birthday wishes🥳, he had a lovely chat with our carer Shannon,and she told malcom all about her dog and showing him images of it at the same time, we played some gentle chair exercise with a target game within our lounge, our Peter.w pictured with our carer kerry and nippy fresh trim✂️and pamper at our in home hairdresser's,and also a lovely home visit for nippy from his daughter vicky and great-granddaughter
