Our trainee pharmacists recently had the opportunity to spend a day at Rokshaw Laboratories in Sunderland. The Rokshaw team spent time explaining each stage of manufacture, and the raw materials and equipment needed. Trainees got the opportunity to gown up and enter the clean room for some practice in making specials! Their Quality Release Officer explained the steps needed before release of a preparation to a pharmacy. Huge thanks to the team at Rokshaw for giving our trainee pharmacists this experience in pharmaceuticals, which will enhance their career as a qualified pharmacist.
