Here's how we line up for the opening game against Thackley. 3 named on the bench. Sebastian Malkowski starts after joining permanently in the summer. Morgan James, Alex Peterson and Jamal Stewart make their full debuts. Brad Grayson and Callum Brooks could make their debuts from off the bench.

We’re rounding off the weekend with some more re-signing news 👏🏼

Second Row, John Williams, has committed to turn out for Dearne Valley for another year 👊🏼

💬 Here’s what our DoR, Steve Mason had to say about them:

“John is a big ball carrying forward with lots of heart in both rugby codes. He has really settled into the 2nd row, with his Rugby League experience giving an edge to his game. I’m looking forward to seeing him in a Dearne shirt for another season”

Wombwell Town FC 🖤❤️

All the entrants for the 25/26 FA Cup have today been confirmed, with 747 teams set to take part, including 15 teams who are entering the world's most famous domestic cup competition for the first ever time!

Crystal Palace 🔵🔴 are the current holders 🏆 and beat off 745 participants in last season's competition, the most ever entrants was 763 back in 2011/12.

The competition, which will be its 145th edition, kicks off on August 2nd with the extra preliminary round, with 14 rounds in total to be played, including the final.

The record for the longest tie: 660 minutes (6 matches in total), Oxford City v. Alvechurch (Fourth qualifying round, 1971)
