Friends,
As Thursday, 7th May approaches, I’ve been reflecting more deeply.
I don’t normally share about politics, and I believe national issues shouldn’t overshadow what’s happening at a local level. But this moment feels worth acknowledging.
There’s a quiet feeling many of us are carrying right now uncertainty, perhaps even a sense of disconnection. It’s easy to wonder whether our voice truly matters, or whether anything really changes.
But moments like this remind us that our voice is part of something bigger.
Local elections may not always feel significant, yet they shape the spaces we live in each day the support around us, the strength of our communities, and the care given to those who need it most.
This isn’t about reacting in frustration or getting pulled into division. It’s about responding with awareness. Taking a moment to pause, reflect on what truly matters, and letting that guide our choice.
Each decision we make carries energy. However small it may seem, it contributes to the direction we move in together.
So on Thursday, take that moment. Be still. Reflect and then act.
I encourage everyone who has elections taking place to vote and make a difference.
Not because the outcome is certain, but because choosing to take part is, in itself, meaningful.
Our communities need presence. They need care. And they need each of us, in whatever way we feel called to contribute.
Love Pietro 💙🙏💙
