We will be closing our Christmas fayre this year in style!

Santa has kindly agreed to switch on the lights of our fabulous community tree. That has been supplied to us by the ladies and gents from FoMas MMapplewell Beer Festival

The light switch on will be at 4pm to close the Christmas Fayre.

We do hope you can join us for a fun filled festive afternoon.

Oh no can anyone help ..... We have a situation. Shirley is not happy .... We have a wreath hook but no wreath 😭.

Shirley thought she could persuade all of the loyal Barnsley Football Club fans to help her on a quest for a new wreath ❤️ .

We think Shirley deserves an Oscar for her performance 🏆🏆✨

We have made a start on our Christmas 🎄crafting for our Christmas fayre. With the help from the wonderful ladies from the Staincross Methodist church.

We have been making the inserts for our personalised 🎄 Christmas tree and wreath cards. We made them by using our finger prints as a gift that you can keep forever.

If you would like to get your hands 😉 on these personalised cards. You will be able to purchase them on Saturday the 13th December at our Christmas fayre.

They will retail at just £1.50 such a bargain price for such a wonderful sentimental gift.

Keep your eyes peeled for more crafts leading up to the fayre.

Can you help?

We are always so grateful for all of your contributions towards our raffles here at Deangate. This Christmas has been fantastic especially with regards to our shoe box drives which are coming in ready to hand out over the Christmas period to our residents and the Help 4 Homeless Veterans in the local community.

So if you have any un wanted gifts, wine, spirits, games, vouchers we will happily accept them to put in our raffle.

Ps Wine is a biggie as we use this for our water and wine stall that always sells out in 10 minutes flat at the Christmas fayre.

Money raised will go back into our resident funds that will in turn enable bigger and better outings and Activities for all of our fab residents.

Money raised in previous years have enabled us to take our residents to Blackpool, The Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Cleethorpes just a few to mention.

Next year the residents would love to go and watch Mamma Mia at the Barnsley Civic and visit the Yorkshire Wildlife Park park again. So with your help we can make this happen 😁🥹
