Hi folks.

I just wanted to spread the word about Olio. It is an app that facilitates the collection of surplus food from supermarkets and businesses in the community and is then made available for collection in your area. All for free.

I hate the thought of food going to waste so I have signed up to be a distributor. I have my first collection on Monday from Tesco so will be listing items on the app for collection in the Dodworth area on Monday.

Please download the app and check out what is available if you are interested in saving money, cutting food waste and keep an look out on Monday for my listings. 💜🌈😊

Also if you are a business that would like to start having food collected to be distributed to reduce food waste please drop me a message and I will be happy to help you make these arrangements.

We have been back out tonight donating homeless bags and met some wonderful people. We are taking sleeping bags, warm clothes to fit them tomorrow and some new walking boots

Yesterday was a busy evening for us here. We started to pack up rucksacks and take some out for our local homeless in the area.
Rachel was unable to come along yest due to illness in the house 💜🌈😔 so I had another helper, Thank you Sian. 💜🌈😊

Really saw what a difference these can make to people yesterday and met some lovely people.

Thank you to everyone who has made a donation so far. You have no idea the impact your kindness can make to someone who is in need of a little helping hand.

A massive thank you to Jason Crabb and everyone else that has made donations this week for our Homeless collection. We really are very greatful as this allows us to help many more people. 💜🌈😊

We still have some parcels to come in the next few days and if anything the weather this last couple of days means this stuff really will make a difference this Winter.

We have very kindly been gifted by a very generous couple a Christmas dinner for a family that is in need and struggling this year.

Hello everyone. We just wanted to share with our lovely followers that after taking a 4 month break (other than emergancies) me and Rachel are back collecting for the homeless and delivering food parcels in the Barnsley and surrounding areas.

We took a break so Rachel could set up her cleaning business and me set up my Resin craft page and if honest take a little time with our families as we did 8 months straight delivering food parcels and homeless backpacks with some days getting around 12 food parcels a day out to the Barnsley area.

But we are now back collecting and putting the rucksacks together in preparation for the colder weather and would like to ask anyone willing to help by making a donation of food or other required items to please let us know or drop us a message on here Tarn In It Together ☺️

We had storage last year due to some kind offers from people who due to covid had room for us to use while being closed but thankfully those businesses are now back in full swing so if anyone local can help us with some sort of storage area at all this year we would be very greatful as we are already struggling for space already and this will limit how we are able to help during this time.
