We shared how DIAL supports residents with advice, advocacy, and practical help when it’s needed most. By working together to signpost residents, spread the word, and share our message, we can reach more people before problems become a crisis.

Starting 31st of March, each session will be shaped around your strengths. You’ll be guided through any challenges you’re facing to help you choose reachable goals.

WINTER WARM PACKS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All Winter Warm Packs have found homes and have been assigned for delivery!

If you're also struggling to keep your home warm and are worried about rising energy costs, our team can come to your home to give you a free energy assessment. As part of our Small Measures initiative, you may qualify for free items to help reduce costs, such as radiator reflectors, energy-saving light bulbs, thermal curtains and draught excluders.

Have a chat with our Energy Advisors today and find out about how we can support you. If you’re living with a disability or long-term condition, you could receive free support to help you save.

We're proud to announce that our Advice Team has been re-awarded the Advice Quality Standard (AQS)!

✅ Last year alone, we supported over 8,000 Barnsley residents with advice and generated over £8 million in previously unclaimed benefits

✅ Almost 100% of clients who used our Advice Line said they were happy
with the advice they received and that they would use the service again

☕ Winter Warm Packs ☕

We can deliver Winter Warm Packs to help you stay warm during the colder months!

What’s in the packs: thermal socks, double duvet, foot warmers, thermal gloves, Cadbury hot chocolate, and Bachelors Cup a Soup.

To request a pack, call or email Emma to find out if you qualify. You must be disabled or have a long-term health condition and be struggling with the cost of living and energy prices. Please ask for a ‘Winter Warm Pack’ on your request.

Our Small Measure's team attended the St Paul's Church-Warm Space Meal Event at Brierley on 24th February.

We were giving expert advice and services to disabled residents of Barnsley - helping you keep warm and safe. 💛

Through the Warm Connections service, Small Measures offers energy-saving and home-warming installations to disabled residents in Barnsley. This includes installing draught excluders, energy-efficient light bulbs, and thermal curtains.
