Join us for our Understanding Perimenopause and Menopause Workshop (Two-Parts) starting Wednesday 1st April & 8th April 10:00am-12pm (Delivered Face-to-Face at The Recovery College).

This workshop will give you an understanding of the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause and their impact on health and wellbeing and the treatments and support to help with the self-management and continued discussion of this important topic with healthcare professionals.

Today we are thinking of all the different feelings that Mother’s Day can bring.

For many, it’s a beautiful day to celebrate mums, step-mums, grandmothers and the incredible people who care for us with love, strength and patience every day. 🌷

But we also recognise that today can be difficult for some — for those missing their mum, longing to become a mum, navigating complex relationships, or grieving a loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts too.

A brilliant example of teamwork in action 🙌

Two physios, one joint session, and a shared goal — getting to the bottom of a complex case. After a thorough assessment (including a dynamic ultrasound scan), collaborative reasoning, and some hands-on exploration, we were able to confidently diagnose Slipped Rib Syndrome.

These cases can be tricky. Symptoms often mimic other thoracic or abdominal issues, and it’s easy for patients to feel frustrated when answers aren’t clear. That’s why sessions like this matter. Bringing two clinical brains together allowed us to compare findings, challenge assumptions, and ensure nothing was missed.

Most importantly, our patient left with:
✔️ Clarity on what’s been causing their pain
✔️ Validation that their symptoms are real
✔️ A clear, structured plan moving forward
