Our much loved pirate ship “the black sheep” which has been a firm favourite of the children’s since its completion in 2020 has unfortunately not survived the winter and has left the children without a major piece of imaginative play equipment.
At the suggestion of a very supportive parent we are holding a Sponsored Walk to raise funds to replace and hopefully improve upon our beloved “black sheep”.
We would ideally like to install something that is large enough or has enough different parts that the children can all play together, rather than something in our budget that would only be large enough for 1 child at a time so would be a turn by turn basis.
The walk will be after school around 27th March (weather depending) and will start at base and go up to and around Locke park and back again, the walk will take approximately 40 minutes to an hour depending on how fast the children walk and if we have to take any breaks for the little ones.
If you know a child who comes to Little lambs please sponsor them as they are all very excited and proud to be taking part.

I’ve realised I’ve not officially introduced the newest member of our team, this is Penny, our rescue pup who is approximately now 9 months old and a Staffy mix, and she’s taking her role as morale and security officer very seriously.
She can be a handful but she adores the kids.
