Yesterday, Barnsley was proud to welcome the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Wes Streeting MP, to officially open the first phase of the new Health and Wellbeing Hub at the Alhambra Shopping Centre 🏥✨

The innovative Health on the High Street development places care at the heart of the community and makes it easier and more convenient for thousands of local residents to access the support they need - a major step forward for community-based healthcare in Barnsley.

🤰 Protect Yourself and Your Baby During Pregnancy

Vaccines during pregnancy help keep you and your baby safe from serious illnesses.

✅ Whooping cough – ideally between 16–32 weeks
✅ RSV – from 28 weeks
✅ Flu vaccine – offered during autumn and winter offered and given at any stage of pregnancy.

These vaccines are free on the NHS and provide vital protection for both you and your baby from birth.

You can visit us in the Maternity HUB, Women’s Services, Barnsley for your vaccine, alternately, you can book an appointment line using this Maternity HUB Vaccination Clinic link. Speak to your midwife or GP for more information.
