💚 This cause is very close to our hearts

🤝 We have already done something to support homeless veterans, and we are proud to continue helping them.
This is not a one-off — it’s a commitment that truly matters to us.

🌟 Our amazing team Jess, Jordan, Donna and Donna’s son Isaac, who is just 11 years old, are taking part in The Great Tommy Sleep Out 🛏️🌙
💚 Seeing someone so young choose kindness, empathy, and action is incredibly moving.
❄️ They will spend the night sleeping out to raise awareness and funds for veterans who are facing homelessness — people who once served and protected others, and now need our support more than ever 🇬🇧🎖️
🤞💚 We are keeping our fingers tightly crossed for them.

📢 As mentioned some time ago, Suzanne, the daughter of one of our residents, took part in a sponsored walk in support of Dementia UK 💜

🗓️ Today, she completed the walk together with a group of wonderful supporters 👏✨
🍽️🥪🧁🥤 To mark the end of the journey, we prepared a small buffet and refreshments for everyone on arrival 😊

💜🤍 Thank you to Suzanne and everyone involved for helping to raise awareness and funds for Dementia UK 🙏✨

Pat has enjoyed having her nails done today and absolutely loved choosing her colour. She sat back, relaxed, and came away with beautifully painted nails and a big smile 😊 It’s lovely to see how something so simple can make such a difference!

Our residents have been enjoying plenty of hot cups of tea, cosy surroundings, and lots of good chats, smiles, and laughter. There’s nothing better than staying snug, sharing stories, and enjoying each other’s company on chilly days like these. 💛

🌼 Walking for a Loved One 🌼

🥾✨ The route is set!

On Saturday, 31st January, Suzanne – the daughter of one of our residents – will be walking 10 miles from Wakefield to Holly Tree Lodge to raise money for Dementia UK 💜

As part of her January challenge, Suzanne has set herself the goal of walking/running 50 miles. She has already raised an incredible amount and completed over half the miles – such a wonderful achievement 👏🌟

We wanted to share her story and help spread the word. If you’d like to support Suzanne with a donation, it would be very much appreciated 🤍✨

Giving back to the community is so important, and we truly love being involved and supporting those who need it. Every donation, big or small, helps in some way, and we’re grateful that we’re able to contribute again today. 🎉 What a night to remember! 🎉

Yesterday we came together to celebrate our CQC report – and it was a real party! 💃🕺

There was music, dancing, laughter, and an amazing atmosphere that reminded us just how special our team is.
It wasn’t just about celebrating the result, but about celebrating each other – the hard work, dedication, and passion that goes into what we do every single day. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves, dancing, and having fun was truly priceless 💙

Thank you to our incredible team for making it such a great night. This success – and these moments – are what teamwork is all about 🌟👏

🌸 A gentle and meaningful project celebrating love in all its forms —
🤍 love shared with partners, 👨‍👩‍👧 family members, 🤝 close friends and ✨ special people, who have played an important role in our residents’ lives.
