☁️ Let me introduce myself ☁️
Hi, I’m Laura, a massage and skincare specialist with a passion for holistic wellbeing.
I trained at the White Rose School of Health and Beauty in 2012, earning four diplomas in Beauty Therapy and Complementary Therapies. Over two years of in-depth training, I developed a wide range of skills and have since trained with many top professional brands. I class myself as a forever student, always learning and evolving to bring my clients the best.
Like many in the industry, I’ve worked in salons, rented rooms and offered mobile treatments. I even set up a cosy space in my mum and dad’s conservatory and my old bedroom, many of you may remember visiting! 😬 I worked other jobs in between, but my heart was always in beauty and wellness. In 2019, I reached a crossroads in my life and I decided to create my own spa-like retreat in my new home. Thoughts became things, and in January 2020, I officially opened my treatment room, originally known as Beauty Lodge.
I initially offered a range of beauty treatments, but it quickly became clear that my true passion lay in massage and facials and these became my most in-demand services. I designed my space as a peaceful, calming retreat for total relaxation. Clients love coming in their PJs, enjoying their treatment, and leaving without having to see anyone, just straight into their car, fresh-faced and relaxed!
A few years ago, I then became a Dermalogica partner, a brand I had always dreamed of using. I first trained with Dermalogica in college and again professionally in my first salon job and I fell in love with the products. Having suffered from eczema all my life, I only trust reputable skincare that truly delivers results. I’ve blended this expertise with a holistic approach, giving my clients the best of both worlds, results and relaxation.
In 2022, I then began working in a spa alongside my business, but I’ve now returned to full-time self-employment where I truly belong! My focus is now putting all my energy into growing my business, and I have so many exciting plans for the future.
