💚 35 Years of Coffee Mornings 💚

Macmillan Cancer Support has been helping people for over 100 years – and this year marks 35 years of their iconic Coffee Mornings.

We aren’t able to host a coffee morning ourselves, but from now until the end of October we’ll be donating £5 from every massage to Macmillan.

This is a cause close to our hearts. Macmillan has supported us personally during cancer treatment, and we know first-hand just how valuable their services are for so many people and families.

Every massage booked this month helps us give back. 💚

⏰ No-Shows Hurt More Than Just a Diary Slot ⏰

This morning I had another no-show at 09:00. No message, no cancellation. Just empty space.

Here’s the reality:
👉 A missed appointment isn’t just an empty hour — it’s lost income that supports my family.
👉 It’s time I could have given to another client who genuinely needed help.
👉 And it’s precious time away from my own family that I can’t get back.

I completely understand that life happens. Things crop up. But if you can’t make it, please send a quick message. It takes 10 seconds and makes a huge difference.

💡 Because of repeated no-shows, I now have a cancellation policy in place.
🔒 A £20 upfront booking fee is now required to secure appointments. This protects my time and ensures fairness for clients who are serious about their sessions.

I’m already adjusting my hours — working 06:00–14:00 elsewhere, then offering afternoons and evenings here — to keep this going. Every no-show makes that harder.

To everyone who books, shows up, and respects the time — thank you. You’re the reason small businesses like mine survive. 🙏

🔥 Show Up For Yourself 🔥

Today I stepped into a Hyrox simulation surrounded by new faces. I wasn’t sure how I’d hold up after my recent injury…

But here’s the truth:

I didn’t compare.
I didn’t doubt.
I just showed up, and I got it DONE ✔️

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the workout, it’s having the courage to turn up, trust your body, and back yourself.

💡 This is exactly what I tell my clients: look after your body, give it the treatment it needs, and it will repay you when it matters most.

Sports massage has kept me moving, kept me training, and today I proved it to myself.
