Happy International Nurses Day 🤍

Today feels like a good moment to reflect on what nursing has given me, not just as a career, but as the foundation for how I practise every day.

My background in nursing has shaped everything about the way I work in aesthetics. The assessment, the decision-making, the education, the ethics, the prescribing responsibility, and the understanding that every treatment carries a duty of care.

Aesthetic nursing is sometimes underestimated because it doesn’t always look like traditional nursing.

But the principles are the same. We still assess, we still listen, we still manage risk, we still educate patients, and we still need to understand medical history, medications, suitability, consent and complications. And we still have to make decisions that put patient safety first.

That is why I take prescribing and prescription-only treatments so seriously in clinic.

It should never be treated casually. Patients deserve proper assessment, honest advice, and care that is safe, legal and appropriate for them.

I’m very proud to be a nurse, and I’m proud to practise in a way that keeps those nursing values at the centre of everything I do.

Happy International Nurses Day to every nurse, in every setting, doing work that matters 🤍

Tired-looking skin doesn’t always need filler.

A lot of patients come in feeling like they look flat, dull or worn out, but the answer isn’t always to add volume. Often, the skin itself needs support first.

That means looking at hydration, collagen, texture, elasticity and overall skin quality.

Treatments like polynucleotides, skin boosters and microneedling all work in different ways, but the aim is the same: to improve the skin rather than mask the concern.

This is where the result feels much more natural.

The skin starts to look brighter, smoother, more hydrated and healthier, without changing the shape of your face or making you look “done”.

And the bit people often forget is home care.

If your skincare isn’t supporting your barrier, protecting against UV and maintaining the work we’re doing in clinic, you won’t get the best out of your treatments.

Fresh skin comes from a proper plan, not just one treatment ✨️

Skin that looks bright, even and healthy usually isn’t down to luck. It’s the result of what’s happening beneath the surface and how consistently that’s being supported over time.

That’s why we don’t rely on one product or one treatment. It’s about building the right foundation with skincare, then choosing treatments that strengthen, maintain and keep everything working as it should.

If you’ve ever felt like your skin isn’t giving what it used to, or you’re not sure what actually makes a difference, this will give you a clearer idea of what to focus on 👉🏼

If you want better skin, consistency matters more than one-off treatments.

That’s exactly why I’m now offering treatment memberships!

They’re designed to make investing in your skin more manageable, while giving you structure throughout the year. Instead of waiting until your skin feels dull, tired or in need of a reset, you have treatments planned in properly so your skin is supported consistently.

Each membership includes three skin rejuvenation treatments per year, covering both upper and lower face rejuvenation, with monthly payments to help spread the cost.

It’s a really good option if you’ve been thinking about starting your skin journey, or if you already know you want to maintain healthy, glowing skin all year round but would rather have a plan in place.

Good skin doesn’t come from doing something once.

It comes from doing the right things consistently.

If you’ve always had thinner lips, you’ll know it’s rarely about wanting them bigger.

It’s about wanting a little more shape, a little more softness, and lips that feel more in balance with the rest of your face.

This result is a lovely example of how lip filler can be used in a subtle, considered way.

Rather than focusing on volume, we’ve worked on gentle structure, improved hydration and a more defined lip border. The lips still feel completely natural, just smoother, more supported and quietly enhanced.

That’s always the aim in my clinic, results that blend seamlessly with your features, so you still look like you, just a little more refreshed.

As we age, one of the most noticeable changes isn’t just fine lines, it’s the gradual loss of volume, firmness, and support beneath the skin.

This can leave the face looking flatter, less defined, and more tired than we actually feel.

The solution isn’t always to add filler, sometimes, the smarter option is to rebuild what’s been lost.

That’s where Sculptra comes in. By stimulating your skin’s own collagen production, it restores strength, structure, and subtle volume from within, giving you results that are natural, long-lasting, and completely you.

If you’re ready to explore how Sculptra can help future-proof your skin and bring back a fresher, more lifted appearance, tap the link in bio to book your consultation today 💬

When it comes to aesthetic treatments, the most important decision you make isn’t the treatment itself, it’s who you trust to guide you.

Your face, your skin and your confidence deserve more than quick fixes or rushed decisions.

As an aesthetics nurse, there are a few things I believe every patient deserves when they walk into a clinic.

These are the promises I make to every person who sits in my chair, and they shape the way I approach every consultation, treatment and long-term plan 👉🏼

You see the treatments, but not everything that comes with running a clinic!

There’s a side to this job that most people don’t realise - the endless content creation, the late-night messages you tell yourself you won’t answer (and then do), the awkward solo content setup, and the constant pressure to keep showing up online when it’s really not your favourite thing!

And then there’s the clinical side. The moments just before a treatment where you know it might not be comfortable, balancing honesty with reassurance, and navigating expectations shaped by things people have seen online that don’t always translate into real life.

It’s a mix of medicine, communication, business, and a lot of patience.

I wouldn’t change it, but it’s definitely not just what you see on Instagram 😅

Sometimes the best lip filler results are the ones you can’t quite put your finger on.

The lips don’t look treated - they’re simply softer, more defined, and a little more balanced with the rest of the face.

That’s always the aim in my clinic. Lip filler shouldn’t change who you are or dominate your features.

When it’s placed carefully, it simply restores hydration, smooths the lip border and adds gentle support where it’s needed.

If you’ve been thinking about lip filler but want an approach that’s thoughtful and tailored to you, tap the link in bio to book your consultation and we’ll talk through what would work best for your lips 💌

Just because a treatment is everywhere right now doesn’t mean it’s the right choice.

One of the most important parts of my job is deciding what not to offer. It would be easy to add every trending treatment to the clinic menu, but that’s not how I work.

Everything I do has to meet a certain standard. That means predictable results, a strong safety profile, and outcomes that actually last and look natural. If something doesn’t consistently deliver on those, it doesn’t make sense to recommend it, no matter how popular it is.

You might see the same treatment promoted in multiple places, but not all approaches are equal, and not every option is right for every face.

Sometimes there are better, more reliable ways to achieve what you’re looking for. And sometimes the best advice is to pause and reassess, rather than jump straight in.

For me, it always comes back to doing what’s right for the patient in front of me, not what’s trending at the time.

If you want honest, considered advice about what will actually work for you, that’s exactly what consultations are for. Want more advice about what’s right for you? Send me a message - I’m always happy to answer your questions 💌
