Come along to our Lifestyle & Wellbeing Fair at The Cedars in Barnstaple on September 25th.

Entry is free and you'll find lots of information about the support available locally for people living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis. We've also lined up 4 interesting talks, including patient experience.

It takes place from 10am to 2.30pm so please just come along at a time that suits you. We look forward to seeing you there 🌿💜

We had such a wonderful day yesterday. Thank you all so much for making our 5-year anniversary celebrations so special and for helping us raise an amazing £1,305.43 to help us to support our patients, families and their carers through their cancer treatment 🌿💜

Happy fifth anniversary to the fabulous Royal Devon Hospitals Charity Fern Centre! 🥳

It’s five years ago today that our cancer wellbeing centre opened its doors at North Devon District Hospital, providing wraparound support for anyone in North Devon affected by cancer.

Thank you to North Devon’s MP (and our former Head of Charity!) Ian Roome MP for popping in to help get the celebrations underway this morning 😊

Join us from 10am for music, dance and cream teas and cakes galore! 🌿🍰🎂💜

Tomorrow marks a very special day - not just because it's my birthday, but because I have the incredible privilege of performing at The Fern Centre's 5th Anniversary celebration. 💙

Five years ago, The Fern Centre opened its doors at North Devon District Hospital, and since then, this amazing place has become a beacon of hope and healing for thousands of cancer patients and their families across North Devon.

I know this firsthand because The Fern Centre has been there for me too. Following my own cancer journey, their incredible staff provided me with counselling that helped me navigate the emotional challenges, offered treatments like reflexology and massage that aided my recovery, and welcomed me into their men's support group where I've met some truly amazing people who understand the journey we've all been on.

🕺🏻Tomorrow, from 12:30-1:30pm, I'll be performing as Ultimate Bublé to help celebrate this wonderful milestone. There couldn't be a more meaningful way to spend my birthday than giving back to a place that has given me so much support and hope.

The Fern Centre continues to provide free counselling, complementary therapies, information, and wellbeing support to our local community. An incredible resource that makes a real difference when people need it most.

I hope to see lots of familiar faces there tomorrow - whether you're staff, volunteers, patients, families, or supporters of this amazing cause. Come along for cream teas, cakes, craft sales, tombola, and of course, some music! 🎵

The Fern Centre is situated opposite the Ladywell Unit at North Devon District Hospital. Let's celebrate five years of making a real difference in people's lives.

Lovely morning at Rock Park for the monthly Barnstaple 5k your way session alongside the usual psrk run- the warm up sesh was done by our very own Tara , who got us walk/run ready. Thank you to all who come along to support this sociable and friendly group of early-ish risers- not everyone is in the photo so we had a good turnout considering it is holiday season💚💜💚
