💫 An Important Update from Maria 💫

After much thought and reflection, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close Sneak-a-Peek Ultrasound.

Over the past six years, Sneak-a-Peek has grown into something truly special - a place filled with love, excitement and so many unforgettable moments shared with families from across North Devon and beyond. It has been the greatest privilege to play a small part in so many of your pregnancy journeys, and I will always be grateful for the trust and warmth you’ve shown me.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to every client who has supported me over the years. Whether you’ve visited once or many times, you’ve helped make this experience more meaningful than I could ever have imagined.

I believe I have now contacted every client whose appointment has been affected by Frank's illness and my absence over the last few months. If you haven't heard from me regarding a cancelled appointment, refund or anything else and you're expecting to, please do get in touch.

While this chapter is coming to an end, I’m leaving with immense gratitude, pride, and love for the wonderful community that’s surrounded Sneak-a-Peek since day one.

The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I’ve had to cancel and rearrange many appointments while we focused on our little boy’s health.

Last Friday, Frank underwent a 7-hour life-saving surgery to remove a perforated duodenal ulcer. We are still currently at Bristol Children’s Hospital, where he is recovering under the most incredible care. It’s been an emotional and overwhelming time, but our brave boy is fighting hard, and we’re taking things one day at a time.

I want to say a huge thank-you to all our wonderful clients for your kindness, patience and understanding throughout this journey. Your supportive messages and compassion have meant more than I can say.

I have stopped taking bookings whilst we navigate these next steps and if your booked appointment is likely to be affected, I’ll be in touch with next steps.

Thank you again for your incredible support and understanding during this difficult time. It truly means the world to us 🩵

As many of you will know, our little Frank has had a rough ride the last couple of months. We spent a couple of weeks in Barnstaple hospital, followed by a couple of weeks in Bristol Children’s Hospital 🏥

We are now home and I’m so pleased to say he’s on the road to recovery ❤️‍🩹 We still have answers to find and blood tests, scans and appointments to come but we are getting there.

For this reason, I’ll be offering limited appointments and flexibility to allow our family time to find our feet again 👣

For those who’ve rescheduled your appointments with me, thank-you so much for your patience and understanding 💜 I think I’ve contacted everyone regarding rescheduling now so if you’re waiting to hear from me and haven’t, please do get in touch!

As we approach our holiday we’ve been experiencing some technical issues with the appointment requesting system…

If you’ve requested an appointment over the Bank Holiday weekend and you haven’t yet received a response from me, please send me a nudge on here! I believe I’ve now rectified the problem and responded to all. If you can’t see me in your inbox, please also check your junk/spam folder as I sometimes end up there.

Tomorrow is my last day scanning before mid May, however I’ll be active on my emails until Thursday evening so please do utilise me whilst you can. I’m here to answer all scan related questions and help you with the booking process.

From Friday I will make the direct booking links available to schedule future appointments for my return, whilst I’m away and my ‘out of office’ is on!
