Interesting , though I have to say , I hardly ever hear the words mentioned here used by our Funeral Directors and other funeral professionals that I work alongside ,if at all .
From a fully qualified Celebrant point of view , a eulogy / tribute where only the persons name is mentioned would not flow very well .
Often the words used such as ‘ a loved one ‘ instead of the name, if delivered with warmth and compassion are more than acceptable I believe, if used with the persons name as well .
Please , if this interests you then have a read , I would really appreciate the thoughts and experiences of others .

No access to North Devon Crematorium from the top Sticklepath roundabout and down Old Torrington Road , as of Tuesday 18 th July 2023.
The ONLY access is via Gratton Way , Roundswell ( Sainsbury’s, Lidl etc)
