Feeding tubes are something that are part of the everyday lives of many of the families that we support.

Just because a child needs a feeding tube doesn't mean that they can't still enjoy all the fun of mealtimes explains Millie's mum, Meg:
“Millie has got a PEG to enable her to eat but she will happily sit and make the biggest mess ever as she enjoys just having a try of different foods. Everyone enjoys doing this activity with her as they can see the enjoyment that Millie gets from it, even though most of it ends up on the floor. It’s a very sensory experience for her.” 💚

🧁 Amelia, a wonderful sibling supported by Little Bridge House, wanted to learn how to ice cupcakes! After baking her own batch, our amazing kitchen team showed her how to use a piping bag to create beautiful icing patterns. Such a simple activity, but one that brings her “a feeling of calm”. 💚

That’s a wrap! 🎁
With the final few trees being collected this week, our Christmas tree recycling scheme has come to a close for the season.
🎄 We’re thrilled to share that a whopping 1,663 trees were collected this year, raising £28,625.53 💚

The Care Team had the loveliest surprise at Little Bridge House this week 🎸

A dad, whose family has been supported by our hospice for over 4 years, kindly donated an electric guitar for our music room!

He plays in a local band and has a treasured guitar collection, so wanted to share his love of music with other children supported by the hospice, especially knowing how much his own children enjoy the music room and their Music Therapy sessions with Ceridwen.🎶

We’re so grateful for this thoughtful gift, which we know will get lots of use by families for years to come 💚
