Letter of thanks received from Deepak Giri at HDCS-Chaurjahari Hospital Rukum West Nepal:
"We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the continuous support you have been providing to our hospital. We understand that it is not easy to send supplies from such a long distance, yet your organization has consistently extended its help to us. Your ongoing support has been a great relief for the people living in this remote area and has significantly contributed to improving healthcare services for our community.
Please find attached photographs of our Consultant Paediatrician, Dr. Dhiraj Mahara, opening the supplies. We are in the process of installation, and these items will play a vital role in improving the health and well-being of children in this region."

Proud to see the Diamedica Baby CPAP playing an integral role in the Born on the Edge neonatal training programme in 👣

We’re now two weeks into our 4-week residential in-service neonatal training programme, and what an incredible journey it has been so far. 💜

Our 15 nurses and doctors from across Eastern Uganda have been learning and practising so many essential skills — from setting up CPAP, mixing and administering fluids, and safely inserting feeding tubes, to recognising and managing sepsis, HIE, and breathing difficulties in our tiniest patients.

Through simulations, bedside teaching, and real-time clinical practice, we’re watching their confidence grow day by day. These are the skills that save lives, and it is truly inspiring to see their dedication and compassion in action.

As we step into the second half of the programme, we are excited to continue this journey together and look forward to celebrating their graduation as our next cohort of Neonatal Champions. 🌟

A heartfelt thank-you to all our partners who make this training possible — Born on the Edge, West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, Uganda-UK Health Alliance, Global Health Partnerships, Health Education England, and the Ugandan Ministry of Health. Together, we are building stronger, safer newborn care for families across Eastern Uganda. 💛

Today, on World Prematurity Day, we recognise the 15 million babies born too soon every year, and the healthcare teams supporting them from their very first breaths.

This year’s theme echoes World Health Organization (WHO)’s Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures campaign, reminding us that every child deserves a fair chance at life, starting from their earliest moments.

In many low- and middle-income countries, access to safe and reliable respiratory support can mean the difference between life and loss.

Our Baby CPAP machines, designed specifically for low-resource settings, help ensure premature and vulnerable newborns receive reliable, life-saving respiratory support, no matter where they are born.

Collectively, we can help countries:
• Invest in special care for small and sick newborns
• Strengthen maternal health services
• Support families with the resources they need
• Ensure equity, so survival never depends on geography or income

Healthy beginnings and hopeful futures for every baby, everywhere. 💜

We're proud to see our Glostavent® featured in Hospitainer’s Mobile Maternal Care Unit.

An example of innovation and collaboration bringing safe anaesthesia and reliable care to mothers and babies wherever it’s needed most. 🤝💜🚑

Today we celebrate , and this year’s theme highlights the essential contribution of anaesthesiologists in health emergency and critical care settings🌍

In many low-resource or unstable environments, access to reliable anaesthesia and respiratory equipment remains a major challenge.

At Diamedica, our focus is on enabling safe anaesthesia and respiratory care where infrastructure is limited or disrupted. Devices such as our Glostavent® Helix Anaesthesia Machines and Portable Anaesthesia Machines (DPA) are built to function without constant electricity or piped gases, making them particularly valuable in emergency and field hospital settings.

By ensuring the continuity of anaesthesia and critical care services in any environment, we aim to support healthcare teams in delivering the best possible outcomes when time and resources are limited.
