Reiki, garden therapy and guided meditation. With my roots in gardening and energy work I have for the last 20 years felt a calling into working where I can help living things be it plant, animal or person. I am a meditation teacher and having been introduced to Taoism and Buddhist meditation by my late father over 25 years ago I have since trained with the British school of meditation and am an advocate to mindfulness for better health be it physical, mental or spiritual. After a personal experience I was drawn to Reiki and ever since I have found my connection with it to be insatiable. From a young age I think we can all recall stubbing a toe, bumping our head or knocking an elbow, the first thing our parent or loved one did was place their hand on it, rub it or hold it. Touch heals they say. Surely there lies something in that age old saying. I am also a social and therapeutic horticulture practitioner working with SEN children, home schooled children with intention on bringing this amazing mindful practise to the elderly with age related neurological diseases. Starting with each person I encounter I have an empirical ‘hunch’ that I can make a difference. Lets connect.
