The legs may be tired today, but (hopefully!) that won't last long...and the memories will last forever 💛

A big smile from our fantastic London Marathon runner , who did us SO proud yesterday. Huge thanks again to everyone who has donated, supported and cheered - any final donations to support children's mental health are very gratefully received!

What a beautiful morning some of our team & trustees had in the woods on Friday 🌿☀️🌳🌲🌱

A few hours of spring sunshine - walking among the bluebells, whittling mushrooms, and weaving willow at Hakeford Woods. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Crumpets, toasted on an open fire? Yes, we had those too!

It was such a lovely chance to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the calm that nature always brings. We left feeling refreshed and grounded.

A big thank you to Iona and our fab trustee Stuart for making it such a special morning.

Ahhhh, what a day!

Sometimes in life you realise that teamwork is what makes the world go around...and our London Marathon experience has shown exactly that.

Amazing Caroline was hoping that she would be on the start line today, but it was not to be...due to injury, she was sadly not able to do the actual run, but did that stop her from fundraising?? NO it did not! Caroline did quizzes and events and lunches and has contributed more than £1500 - an incredible amount. Caroline is still determined to run the London Marathon in the future, and I have no doubt she will do it...watch this space!

And then we have Lucille! She stepped up late, trained her absolute socks off in all weathers and has been an absolute star. Today she didn't just finish, she smashed it in a truly fantastic 4 hours and 32 minutes - what a legend! She has also been fundraising like crazy, with every penny going towards supporting children and young people's mental health here in North Devon. Let's hope she is having a well deserved rest, putting her feet up and soaking up that unique London Marathon atmosphere 💛

Well done Team London 2026 - you have both done us proud and we are SO grateful.

Eek! Our legendary@lucilleackland is heading towards the start line of the London Marathon 2026… a few nerves, a lot of excitement, and 26.2 miles ahead of her for her very first marathon.

We will be willing her on, step by step, and can't wait to see that finish line photo!

Only 3 days to go until takes on the London Marathon for Family Compass! 🏃‍♀️💛

She’s put so much into this - early mornings, long runs, braving the cold and rain (and the odd bit of sunshine 🌞) - and now she’s almost at the start line.

Every mile she runs will raise funds to support children going through some really tough times.

If you’re able to donate, it would mean so much - any amount, however small, all helps and will give Lucille that extra boost on the day. And if not, a kind message or share would be just as appreciated. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

The sun is out and so is Lucille, smashing out her final big training run! ☀️🏃‍♀️

She has just picked up her London Marathon top and is giving it a trial run before the big day in just over 2 weeks.

A very special thank you to the wonderful Peter & team at North Devon Decorating and Tiling for such an amazing donation of more than 40 Easter eggs, and to Paul Stevens and Danny Stevens 3 little birds helping those that need it most for delivering them...
