The full moon—known as the Corn, Harvest, or Barley Moon—occurs on Sunday, 7 September 2025, at around 7:09 pm BST in the UK.

It’s also a total lunar eclipse, resulting in a stunning "Blood Moon." The event is visible across the UK.

Highlights from astro‑news:

The Moon rises already eclipsed at around 7:30 pm BST, peaks at 7:33 pm, and the eclipse finishes by approximately 7:52 pm.

It will glow a deep red as Earth's shadow completely envelops it—a rare and mesmerizing sight.

This is the UK’s first total lunar eclipse since May 2022, and the next one won't occur until December 31, 2028.
