We have some exciting plans coming up in November so here are some dates for your diaries as we head around the country with our try on nights. More details on each event will be posted throughout the month;

Thursday 14th we join Run Active Leigh on Sea with South End Flyers with the Specter 2 & Atmos

Sunday 17th we will hit the trails with The Pedal Station Weston Under Lizard with our MTN Racer 3 trail shoes

Wednesday 20th we will at Tarka Clinic in Barnstaple with the Specter 2 & Atmos

Thursday 21st we join Running Free Poole with the Atmos & Specter 2

Monday 25th we will be with Metres To Miles with the Specter 2 & Atmos

Wednesday 27th we head to Leicester Running Shop with the Specter 2 & Atmos

And finally Thursday 28th we finish the month at PAU Run and Ride Trentham with the Specter 2 and Atmos

MPOX

Due to the current outbreak of Mpox in Central and Western Africa we are getting numerous enquiries about the Mpox vaccine. This is not currently available privately in the UK. A very small subset of people may be eligible on the NHS. This information can be found on the link below including symptoms and what to do if you think you may have Mpox.

Even if travelling to these regions the risk of Mpox is very low. There is no recommendation for the use of the vaccine in travellers from the UK at present.

Mpox is transmitted via close contact with someone with Mpox. Travellers can minimise their risk by practicing good hygiene measures such as regular hand washing, ensuring surfaces/objects are clean/disinfected and also ensuring bedding and towels are clean. Animals can also transmit Mpox so avoiding contact with animals whilst abroad and ensuring any food containing meat is well cooked also reduces risk of transmission.

We will update our website if the vaccine becomes available. However we have confirmed that it is only supplied to Government organisations and not commercially. This means it will likely only be available if the UK Government decide there is a need to vaccinate further subgroups within the population.

If the risk to travellers increases, including if it becomes inadvisable to travel, would be published on the FCDO website.
