I work with women who are struggling with their fertility/conception, menstrual problems and finding life difficult during the peri & menopausal years. Women who have suffered miscarriage, have unexplained infertility, are journeying through assisted conception or just generally struggling with their fertility problems, feel isolated, experience deep feelings of loss and profound sadness. I can help support you through your fertility journey with Bowen therapy and other holistic therapies which compliment eachother. My hands on therapies offer complete support for you in the way of aftercare and suitable bespoke advice with self care throughout your treatment time with me. A great client moment in my treatment room yesterday.

My client came in with a painful neck, headaches, and a restricted right shoulder. After a movement check, I looked at the hips and found the real culprit… the left hip flexor.
After some Bowen work on the hip, the shoulder and neck settled.
My client's response?, “Woooo… you’re a witch!”
I’ll take that 😄 but it’s not magic. The body just isn’t a set of separate compartments, everything is connected.

When you find the right place to work, the body often does the rest.
Our bodies are always communicating with us… we just need to listen.

Next stage of my meeting with John and Misty at Lyn Candles Showroom & Studio Lynton, I had such an interesting morning watching and learning. Candle making is definitely an art as there are so many things to consider before the final candle goes out onto the shelf for public sale.

The aromas are being tested for my bespoke candle.
At the end of the month the wax will be poured....

This morning I visited Lyn Candles Showroom & Studio and workshop in Lynton to meet John the candlemaker and his daughter Misty to discuss the process of creating a very special bespoke candle for the Star Bluestone collection, in memory of my eldest daughter, Jessie.
It was important to me that this piece is thoughtfully made, with care and meaning in every detail, and it was good to meet with them because in my mind John and Misty are the best at what they do

Lynton was bright and sunny this morning, yet back home it is cold, windy and beginning to rain. Such a difference in climate just over the hill. It was quite symbolic, really, almost as if the morning knew it was important to have sunshine where I was heading.

The candle is currently in the consultation phase, so I'll be sharing more next week as the design starts to take shape. Watch this space!!

There’s something so lovely about supporting a client as they move from their initial healing phase into maintenance.

This week, one of my regulars came in for her Signature Therapeutic Massage after completing her three Bowen sessions. Those first Bowen sessions are about creating space, calming the nervous system, and allowing the body to reset.

Once clients are on Bowen maintenance, I then offer massage to gently support and build on that work.
For her treatment, we incorporated hot basalt stones to soften and melt lingering tension, with cool marine stones used where needed to soothe and rebalance. The combination of warmth and cooling works beautifully alongside the changes Bowen has already initiated.

It’s never “just a massage.” It’s thoughtful, responsive bodywork that meets the body exactly where it is 🤍

After your first session, you’ll receive a HANDY AFTERCARE PAMPHLET with all the tips you need to look after yourself. For clients on an initial course, I also check in 7 DAYS AFTER YOUR LAST SESSION to see how you’re feeling, review progress, and plan the next steps.
This follow-up is all about making sure you feel supported and confident in your healing.

Bowen therapy isn’t just about what happens on the therapy couch, it’s about building a relationship, understanding your body, and giving you the tools to keep moving forward. 💛
