Morning Basic Witches.
The cards today are painting a little bit of a muddled picture. I hope, if like the cards, you are feeling out of sorts, then this read can bring you some clarity to the situation and help you find a way out of the web you seem to be tangled in.

Mixed emotions are leading you to feeling unsettled and there is that overwhelming sesame of doom hanging over your head like a dark cloud says the 9 ᴏꜰ ꜱᴡᴏʀᴅꜱ. You are quite frankly frazzled emotionally and this is highlighted by the fact of how desperately you are trying to cling on. If you don’t take a retreat, things are going to snowball out of control. The presence of 4 ᴏꜰ ᴘᴇɴᴛᴀᴄʟᴇꜱ is screaming at you to release! Why are you holding on to something so tightly that serves no purpose, only heightening your insecurities? We all like routine, a resemblance of control, but how can you control that of which you have no idea of and how you got to? All you are doing is hurting yourself. How about taking a deep breath, closing your eyes and when you feel ready, face the music. The 8 ᴏꜰ ꜱᴡᴏʀᴅꜱ reminds you that sometimes we have to take accountability for the knots we find ourselves in. All we have to do is realise we are responsible for our own paths. Once you see what it is that has led you to this situation, you can slowly begin to untwine that which binds you and when laid out, a clear path is laid before you. That’s it! The release of everything that has been holding you captive! Don’t get bogged down in the negativity. You have the power to change.

To every action, there is a reaction. Often called Karma, we also like to use the word ⚖️ ᴊᴜꜱᴛɪᴄᴇ ⚖️. A little nip to someone who is overstepping their mark, should remind them to stay in their lane and abide by the rules. But don’t get too fixated on the one thing you feel is your sole & only purpose to get the reward you so justifiably deserve. Heed the ❗️ᴀᴄᴇ ᴏꜰ ᴘᴇɴᴛᴀᴄʟᴇꜱ ❗️warning to look at all that is around you! There are other factors in your life that need addressing and attention - you’re not going to make it if you stay fixated on that one treat you so desperately want.

You’re not quite sure what is lurking around the corner, hence your claws are out just in case you need to battle. This card serves as a reminder to keep your wits about you and to stay one step ahead, just to make sure you’re prepared either way. There’s definitely a surprise heading your way, be it good or bad and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Preparation is key and be prepared to battle if required.

There’s no pussyfooting around this one - you’re in pain. You feel like your heart has been pierced & there is not one thing you can do to change it. Allow yourself to cry, scream even. Ride the wave of emotion as it washes over you. There is no shame in having a pity party, as long as you don’t wallow in it for too long. These raw, hard hitting, immensely painful times upon reflection, are a true testament to just how far you can go, even when broken. Pain can help you heal too. It’s just as important to our growth as happiness & love. Remember, nothing lasts forever and so too, will this pain ease ❤️

These two cards work perfectly together. The ꜰɪᴠᴇ ᴏꜰ ᴡᴀɴᴅꜱ has the prize just dangling there in front of you - but you’re not the only one who wants. You need to get those claws out kitty and be prepared for a little bit of a confrontation and conflict in order to claim that which you are owed. This is where ᴛᴡᴏ ᴏꜰ ᴄᴜᴘꜱ comes in to play. The fact it’s reversed is preparing you for a bumpy ride to get what you want. Luckily for you, you’re in tune with yourself, so all those little niggles are standing you in good stead to know when and where to have your battles. Fear not though, there is the opportunity of a partnership to work together to get your rewards - just approach with caution!

As humans, we often bury things deep down inside of us if we feel we have messed up or things haven’t gone to plan. But what we should do is look at these little misadventures and think “how can I do that differently” or “what is this trying to teach me”. Only then can we truly open ourselves up to our true path and succeed as our authentic selves.

Completion! The finale! Satisfaction! Whatever the battle or task at hand you have seen it through to the end & nothing beats the feeling of seeing it come full circle. It may have been a difficult path at times to get to where you are now, but you have achieved it and it’s not something which should be taken for granted.
Allow yourself this moment to receive some well earned belly rubs & enjoy the fruits of your labour!

⁉️ ʟᴇꜰᴛ - 7 ᴏꜰ ᴄᴜᴘꜱ ⁉️ You have lots of options and choices available to you, but you need to bring together, your mind, your heart and your intuition to make sure the decision you make is for the right reasons. Make sure you are not setting unrealistic outcomes just because you want to achieve something so badly. More often than not, when we do this we end up more flat and deflated because what we desired did not come to fruition. It is always wise to set realistic goals in order to feel accomplished.

🐚 ᴛʜᴇ ʜᴇʀᴍɪᴛ 🐚 Whatever it is you're doing now, its not working. It's time to take a little bit of a retreat and have a reset. You've lost touch with your inner guidance and you're failing to see the bigger picture. 🫶🏻 ᴛᴇɴ ᴏꜰ ᴄᴜᴘꜱ 🫶🏻 If you were wondering when these battles you've been facing on the daily recently are coming to an end, then the answer is soon. At the end of the rainbow, as the saying goes, is a little pot of gold. Take it as a comfort that brighter days are coming. The stack of dishes in this card also symbolise working together as a team, especially when it comes to the matter of family. They serve as a reminder to keep a look out for things coming from above, there is safety in numbers, and those around you, yourself included, can create a protective barrier to keep your loved ones and yourself safe from harm.

Well this card is packing a punch, reflecting exactly how you want to react at this moment in time. Someone is not pulling their weight and it’s leaving you feeling frustrated to the point where it’s leading to clear divisions between you and others. The lack and/or failure of communication is becoming too much to bear, creating the emotion of wanting to shake those around you and give them a wake up call. With all this going on, you’re at odds with your own feelings too. You swing from feeling guilty for having these negative thoughts and emotions towards another…to utter bewilderment of how someone can be so thoughtless in their regards to others.
