**Nexus Care Group Announces Significant Investment in Vicarage Care Home in Askam-in- Furnace Cumbria**
ASKAM, CUMBRIA – 5th March 2024 – Nexus Care Group, a leading provider of care services, is proud to announce a significant investment 1.6 million in the Vicarage Care Home located in Askam in Furnace, Cumbria. This commitment is geared towards enhancing the facility's capacity and creating a more supportive environment for individuals with dementia.
The investment will see the extension of Vicarage Care Home to include an additional eleven beds. This not only increases the home’s capacity but also ensures that families no longer face the distressing prospect of placing their loved ones in a care home 100 miles away, a challenge currently faced by many in the region.
Furthermore, the upgrade will introduce a more spacious day area and dining section. Nexus Care Group recognises the importance of an environment tailored to the unique needs of those with dementia. With this in mind, the renovation will incorporate state-of-the-art wayfinding and decoration principles from Sterling Universty, ensuring that residents feel at home and can navigate the space with ease and confidence.
