Our Story

REGISTERED ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE TEACHER IN PRESTON AND BARROW Richard Marsden – practising as ‘Strolling Lighthouse’ – is a qualified teacher in the Alexander Technique, experienced in helping individuals since 2002 to improve their general health, physical fitness and wellbeing. Richard developed the term ‘Strolling Lighthouse’ as a positive thought process you can utilise as an aid to enjoy walking. It implies being pleasantly upright and freewheeling along in a tension-free manner. Lighthouses are also symbols of safety, sanctuary and strength. Lessons can be taken at our centre in Preston - The Remedy Centre - where we have a comfortable and accessible treatment room. Please get in touch with the centre to book an appointment.
