** Please share ** Nominations are open for the Better Tomorrows Awards 2025 - celebrating inspirational youth work across Cumbria 🏆

This new awards ceremony will shine a spotlight on those making a real difference to the lives of young people – and you can help choose the winners.

You can nominate in three categories: Youth Worker of the Year, Youth Project of the Year, and Young Volunteer of the Year.

The awards are part of the Better Tomorrows programme, which has trained more than 50 accredited youth workers, funded over 50 new youth work roles, and engaged more than 5,000 young people across Cumbria since its launch in 2021.

Nominations close 30 September. The awards will be judged by a panel of young people.

Nominate at: www.cumbriafoundation.org/programmes/better-tomorrows/better-tomorrows-awards

This national survey on the UK voluntary sector closes on 30 September.

If you’re an amateur sports, dance or gardening club, a village hall, a carers’ group, an arts organisation, a campaigning trust, deliver social or health services, care for the environment or run a hostel or food bank – they want to hear from you!

Responses are low from Cumbria so far - please have your say 👇

Today we welcome back seniors and juniors. (At the normal times)

Due to ongoing building works there will be some changes.

The sessions will run in the hall. This will mean that all young people will be in one area. It also means we will have less equipment available.

We understand that the change maybe difficult for some people and they may want to wait till we are back in our youth centre.

We will try our best to have enough equipment/activies out for all the young people.

Please don’t arrive earlier than your time slot as there are no waiting areas

Also we will nit be taken on new members until building work is complete (however they can register on the waitlist x)
