We have full and part time rounds available in these areas available for staff to start immediately!

Carer of the Year is for people, groups and organisations that help look after others, assisting them in the day to day running of their lives, making sure they are able to live as comfortably as possible.

The nomination can be funded or voluntary and can be from any kind of health care including both physical and mental health support. It can also be a friend or family member that cares for someone on their own time and through the goodness of their heart.

Welcoming Twilight Years Homecare: A New Chapter in Community Support on CANDOFM

We are thrilled to announce that Twilight Years Homecare, a trusted and long-standing provider of home care services in Barrow-in-Furness and beyond, has joined CANDOFM as the official sponsor of our “Time Check” feature. This partnership marks a meaningful collaboration between two organisations deeply rooted in the heart of the Furness community.

Established in 1989, Twilight Years is an independent home care agency dedicated to supporting elderly and disabled individuals across Furness, South Lakeland, and parts of the Lake District. Their mission is to help people maintain independence and dignity by providing personalised care within the comfort of their own homes. Services include assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, medication, companionship, end-of-life care, and more. The agency is registered and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and works in partnership with Cumbria County Council’s Adult Social Care services.
