If you’ve looked at our timetable and wondered which class is right for you, here’s a simple guide.

At DS Fitness Centre, every class has a clear purpose. We don’t run random workouts. We coach structured sessions designed to help you feel better, get stronger and improve your fitness safely.

Here’s what each colour on the timetable represents:

💜 Feel Better – Pilates & Posture Classes ( All Classes in Purple)
(Pilates, Trigger Point Pilates, Posture Reset, Pilates Flow)

If you’re searching for Pilates in Barrow-in-Furness or classes to help with back pain, tight shoulders or poor posture, start here.

These sessions focus on:
• Improving posture
• Activating deep core muscles
• Reducing tension & pain
• Supporting your lower back

Ideal if you feel stiff, tight or worn down.

💙 Build Your Foundation – Core & Stability Classes
(Group Core, Core Connect ) Classes in Blue.

These core strength classes help stabilise your spine, improve balance and build control before increasing intensity.

If your back gets tired easily or you want stronger support before lifting heavier, this is your foundation.

Why the timetable looks the way it does
A lot of people feel overwhelmed by fitness timetables.
Too many names. Too many options. No idea where to start.

My timetable isn’t designed for people who already “know fitness”.
It’s designed for real people with real bodies.

Some people feel stiff.
Some feel weaker than they used to.
Some want more energy.
Some need their back and posture to feel more supported.

That’s why I offer different types of classes.
Not so you do everything.
But so you can choose what your body needs right now.

Do you stand all day for work?

If you finish most days with tight shoulders and an aching back, our Trigger Point Pilates class is designed for you.

This is a calm, supportive Pilates class focused on helping tired bodies loosen off and feel more comfortable, so everyday movement feels easier.

We’ve added a Monday 1:30 pm session, ideal for those who are often off work that day.

A one-time half-price intro (First Session) is available during February for anyone who’d like to try it.

This is the calmest place to start if your body feels worn out.

In the last few years, our brand has altered and we have championed a different way of thinking in the fitness industry. Unlike traditional large fitness companies where there is no personal touch. We believe that at DS Fitness Centre this is not enough! We are striving to keep the personal approach to all our customers and create a community like atmosphere along with ensuring our customers still have a valuable experience. Whilst delivering the latest and best fitness classes, results driven and effective gym programs, sound weight loss and nutrition advice, we believe you will leave feeling on top of the world!

After years of working hard to build a brand that is unique and personal I have decided to alter the structure of the company from “DS fitness Centre” so let me now introduce you to ‘The DS Fitness Centre Method’
