Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver for part-time local contract work. The position involves 20 hours per week at a competitive rate of £20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Taxi vehicle on scheduled local routes
Provide a courteous and professional service to all passengers
Conduct basic vehicle checks before each shift
Maintain accurate records of journeys as required
Comply with all relevant road safety, company, and council regulations
Requirements:
Valid Taxi licence
Must be badged by Westmorland and Furness Council
Previous experience in passenger transport is preferred
Strong communication and time-management skills
Friendly and professional manner
