That time of the year is fast approaching fast for the running events cycling events and swimming.

Get booked in for a sports massage or better a injury assessment.

Injury prevention is better then actually letting injuries happen.

28/02/2026

Well its that time of the year where people are gearing up for training for there running, cycling and swimming events

Don't leave it to late to help aid in your recovery and get booked in for a sports massage or an injury assessment.

Its always better to prevent injury than to get one and then prevent it happening.

I am NOT trying to turn this into a Human Anatomy class and you will definitely never see this muscle.....

🤓

but pretty much everyone that I have ever worked with has had to learn how to use this sucker!

Most posture problems don’t start in your back — they start in your hips. The obturator internus helps center your pelvis so your body feels balanced. When it’s working, you stand taller, walk smoother, and breathe better. Fix the foundation first — everything above it moves better.

Here is quick test you can do to test if it is doing enough or not:

1. Stand barefoot.
Notice which leg you naturally put more weight on.
2. Lift one knee slightly (like a slow march).

Do both sides.

Ask yourself:
Does one side feel harder to lift?
Does one hip feel jammed or wobbly?
Do you shift your torso to help?

3. Now sit tall and gently rotate one knee outward.

Compare sides.

👉 What it means :
If one side feels weaker, tighter, or unstable…
If you lean or twist to compensate…
That usually means your pelvis isn’t centered — and your obturator internus on that side isn’t doing its job.
