Helen Mckenna Sews I make handcrafted, vintage and creative textiles using a mix of old and new fabrics and trimmings. I hope you enjoy looking at my work past and present.

Please contact me if you see something you like. I have always loved making. Sewing is my favourite pastime with the occasional knitting phase. I am married and we have a very mischievous Lakeland Terrier called Mabel who loves chasing her ball. I have been making and sewing for many years now. My speciality is hand crafted, vintage and creative textiles. I attend many vintage, design and handmade

fairs in and around Cumbria selling dolls, cushions, clothes, aprons, pin cushions and many more textile related products. I am always looking for new things to create, I find sewing and making things therapeutic and fun. I would recommend getting creative and making something. Its a great hobby and it can even turn into a small business!

Such a fantastic experience having a stand at the Knitting and Stitching show at Alexandra Palace, London. Loving every minute! Lovely to catch up with old friends who came along to support me. Thank you to everyone who visited the Craft Village and liked my work.

I have been really busy preparing for the Knitting
and Stitching show at Alexandra Palace, London.
Lots of new work which l hope to photograph in the next few days. My stand is CV1 so if anyone is going please come and say hallo. The show starts on the 10th October for four days.
