After a very busy summer hosting a family wedding, the growth therapy team took a step back from gardening to enjoy the lovely weather and make the most of our beautiful space! Here are some pictures to show you what we’ve been up too.

Today we’ve had a fantastic afternoon, planting up planter No.7 for Cumbria In Bloom, with a great group from Dowdales! The group worked really hard in the heat, so we all had a well deserved ice cream afterwards.

Thank you to Tythe Barn Nursery for the beautiful plants, the town is looking great and it’s lovely to be part of a community activity! 💚

What a cute idea 🥰 we get lots of flying insects at the garden so we are definitely going to try this 🦋🐝🐞🪰💚

Tiny garden visitors need water too! 🐝💧
Turn an old ladle into a bee and butterfly watering station—just add pebbles and a bit of water, then mount it somewhere shady. The rocks give them a safe place to land while sipping. Simple, sustainable, and so kind to pollinators! 🌼🪻

Today is Earth Day 2025.

We try to do as much as we can to support our planet, we have solar power at our gardens, composting toilets and we reuse and recycle wherever possible.

Everyone can do something to support the planet, even the smallest of gestures can make a difference 😀💚

Rarely see Ravens here but we have plenty of crows visiting the garden and they do enjoy chasing the buzzards away! 🐦‍⬛🦅🌲🌳💚

I believe people need to learn the difference between a Crow and a Raven so nobody gets confused.

Did you know that in the UK, between 80-90 million Easter eggs are sold each year!!

This week our young people have been doing their own Easter egg hunts, toasting marshmallows and having fun in the sun 🌞
