Our previous visits had been very well supported at The Croft by ............ and ............. Your knowledge and commitment to your residents shows through when we come in and work with you.

I really wanted to feed back to you and your wonderful staff team how well clinic had gone on ....th Nov for two of your residents thanks to the knowledge and skill the staff have when working with and supporting their needs. Forgive me for not knowing everyone's names.

Both clinic appointments were in Kendal which creates challenge in itself bringing people away from their familiar environment and having people seated in their wheelchairs for several hours to complete the visit. Both Residents were supported superbly by your staff who have clearly built up a wonderful rapport with them, holding their trust and confidence that everything will be ok.

They were polite and communicative with the clinical team at Kendal and the apts were very successful thanks to their competence and care.

Special thanks goes to ........ who had come in on her day off to support ..... as what can be an overwhelming event for her.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? Join our caring and dedicated team as a Health Care Assistant.

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Health Care Assistants. In this vital role, you’ll support residents with daily living activities and provide essential care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

This position will involve working an average of either 24 hours (2 shifts) or 36 hours (3 shifts) per week over a two-week rota. Shift times are 07:30 - 20:30 and 19:30 - 08:30.

This position will primarily involve working day shifts, but will include occasional night cover for sickness & holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with personal care tasks and Activities of daily living
• Support mobility and help with physical activities
• Monitor and record residents’ conditions
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
• Ensure care plans are followed and accurately documented

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, or night shifts as required
• A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one
