We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Health Care Assistants. In this vital role, you’ll support residents with daily living activities and provide essential care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
This position will involve working an average of either 24 hours (2 shifts) or 36 hours (3 shifts) per week over a two-week rota. Shift times are 07:30 - 20:30 and 19:30 - 08:30.
This position will primarily involve working day shifts, but will include occasional night cover for sickness & holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with personal care tasks and Activities of daily living
• Support mobility and help with physical activities
• Monitor and record residents’ conditions
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
• Ensure care plans are followed and accurately documented
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, or night shifts as required
• A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one
