The evenings are drawing in, the winter boots and scarves are back out and Kleenex and Lemsip are doing a roaring trade...
However you feel about Winter time, we need light for every cell in our body and that can be difficult to get this time of year from a multitude of reasons and not having it can impact our physical and mental health.
Whether you suffer from SAD or just find you struggle that little bit more to get motivated in the Winter to get things done, to leave your cosy bed and face the cold, there are tips and tricks that help you get through the next through months.
We have come across a great resource that is backed by the University of Glasgow who have done some research in the effects lack of sunlight can have and ways to combat that.
It is a book called Light is a Right and trigger warning, there is swearing on the first page. You can read it on any device for free.
Our therapists are available to help through these feelings throught the Winter and just remember, this too shall pass
