Ever got fed up of trying (and failing) to lose weight? That’s where weight loss injections come in….. for the first time in decades you actually SEE results, with consistent weight loss week after week. It’s never too late…… Weight loss injections can be prescribed to any adult under 85 years old who is eligible.

Many older adults are on a multiple medications, and are nervous about whether these injections are safe. Come and have a face to face chat with our Pharmacist who can talk through all of your medication and any health conditions, and whether weight loss injections will be safe for you.

We safely prescribe, support and monitor weight loss injections for many older adults with fantastic results. Benefits are often (but not always) easier movement, less pressure on joints (esp hips and knees), more energy, reversal of Type 2 diabetes, reduced risk of 13 types of cancers, reduced risk of heart disease, improved cholesterol results; reduction of blood pressure, reduced snoring…. Many local patients aren’t aware of the services we offer, so we’d love to spread the word!
Our Independent Prescriber can assess patients and prescribe treatment for a range of common conditions — often without needing a GP appointment.

⚠️ IMPORTANT PLANNED SYSTEM MAINTENANCE ⚠️

We will be migrating IT systems between 24.02.2026 – 05.03.2026.

The NHS Wales App and all repeat prescriptions requests will not be available during this period. If you are due your repeat prescription during this time, please submit your request up to 2 weeks earlier than usual and we will issue a postdated prescription.

We will be running EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS ONLY during this time and will not be able to deal with any administrative queries including test results, referral requests or sick note requests.

Please share this information with any persons registered with the practice that may be affected by this system downtime. We appreciate your understanding during this time.

Also, if you've previously lived in England, your old pharmacy may still show as your nominated pharmacy. By changing now, you will ensure your prescription is sent to the correct pharmacy.

UPDATE 2: We are now back up and running. Please bare with us as we have a lot of work to catch up on. If you are not in desperate need of your prescription, please consider calling in tomorrow for it.
Thanks you for your kind words and understanding.

UPDATE: We have been informed by BT that this could carry on until 15-12-25. We have contacted the Director of customer services and Senior technical and executive complaints manager. We are currently awaiting replies.

If you have received a text message we are able to hand out your completed prescription. We are able to sell over the counter preparations.

We are not able to process/dispense prescriptions, carry out independent prescribing appointments, common ailment scheme requests, answer our phones or administer flu Vaccinations.

Again, we are sorry, but this is completely out of our control. Please be patient with us, we really are trying put best.

We are currently experiencing issues with our broadband. Our phone lines and internet connection, which run through BT, are having problems and this is affecting our work. We are unable to dispense medication without the internet connection.

We are trying to contact BT but they aren't accepting phone calls for faults/issues. We are waiting to for them to reply on web chat to help us resolve the issue.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
