If you have a common condition such as an ear infection, eczema, impetigo or a minor skin infection or require routine contraception, your local community pharmacy may be able to help.

Some pharmacies offer the Pharmacist Independent Prescriber Service – a free NHS service where you can get expert advice and free treatment if required, without needing to see your GP.

We've had a great start to our new service. Thank you to the patients who have chosen to use us to help them along their weight loss journey 👍

Weight loss injections are an extremely effective method to help reach a healthier weight. They should be used with changes in diet and exercise for the best result. They work by reducing appetite and making you feel full earlier.

We only prescribe to people with a BMI over 30 (or 27 with additional health risks). It has been clinically proven that a BMI over 30 has many increased health risks, therefore prescribing this medication can help you lose weight reducing your long term health risks.

If you are interested in weight loss injections, our accredited pharmacist is currently taking appointments. It will involve a face-to-face consultation where you can ask questions and seek advice to help you decide if this treatment is right for you.

We can see that some of our patients still have an English pharmacy set as their nominated pharmacy for EPS - to avoid your prescriptions being sent to your previous pharmacy when your surgery goes live, please remember to nominate your current pharmacy. If you do not, there will be delays in receiving your prescription.
