Meet Molly.
Molly started doing weekly 1-1 Pilates with me in July this year.
She felt under confident & had low self esteem after putting on weight.
From the get go, we had open & honest conversations around food, lifestyle, external influences & learning to focus on what your body CAN do, rather than what it looks like.
This has always remained the focus of our sessions.
What CAN we do this week?
Safely, progressively overload the body each week.
Achieve one more rep than the week before.
& CELEBRATE those wins!
This has, in turn, helped Molly to view her body in a different way (her words, not mine - see her review in picture 5).
Molly now focuses on what her body CAN do for her & how GREAT she feels when she achieves new movements or increased reps / time in hold during our Pilates sessions.
⦠& as a result she has made positive lifestyle changes & lost an amazing 2 stone since October!!
Pilates, in isolation, wonāt help you lose weight. But by challenging your body, feeling that endorphin rush & opening up to someone who can help keep you accountable, in a safe space, it can kick start small healthier habits that WILL change your life.
Well done - I am endlessly proud of you.
