After much reflection, I want to share that I will be stepping away from my time at Reset Wellbeing Studio at the end of May.
Due to family reasons and some ongoing health matters, I need to prioritise my wellbeing and those closest to me. As many of you know, this work comes from the heart, and sometimes honouring wellbeing means making gentle but necessary shifts.

I want to say how grateful I am to Ruth and Reset Wellbeing for such a supportive, nurturing and professional space to practise in. It has been a genuinely positive experience, It’s been a pleasure to work within a space that values care, integrity and genuine client connection.

I’ll continue to see clients at Reset until the end of May and would love to welcome you in before I finish. If you’ve been meaning to book, now would be the perfect time.
To my wonderful clients thank you for the trust, loyalty and warmth you’ve shown me. It has been a privilege to support so many of you through massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and holistic treatments.

Reset will soon be welcoming another therapist into the studio. If you’re a practitioner looking for a beautiful, calm space to work from, I wholeheartedly recommend getting in touch with Ruth

This isn’t goodbye forever, but a pause and a shift. I will share any future updates when the time feels right.
With gratitude,
Zoey 💛

There’s something incredibly powerful about stepping outside and letting the sunshine touch your skin ☀️

Even a short time outdoors can help to lift your mood, calm the mind, and support overall wellbeing. In our busy lives, it’s easy to forget how important these simple moments are.

Whether it’s a gentle walk, sitting with a cup of tea, or simply pausing to breathe in the fresh air, your body and mind will thank you.

Holistic wellbeing isn’t always about big changes… sometimes it starts with stepping into the light.

✨ Your body speaks – are you listening? ✨

Many of us ignore the early signs our body gives us:
• Muscle tension
• Fatigue
• Headaches
• Poor sleep
• Feeling constantly stressed

Holistic therapies such as massage, reflexology, and aromatherapy support the body in returning to balance. These treatments don’t just help you relax they can also encourage circulation, ease muscular tension, and calm the nervous system.

Taking time for your wellbeing isn’t a luxury, it’s an investment in your health.

If you’ve been feeling run down, stressed, or holding tension in your body, it might be time to prioritise some self-care. 🌿

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… and I wanted to acknowledge that.

The truth is, life has felt heavy.
Family things. Health things. The kind of emotional weight that doesn’t always show on the outside.

There have been moments where I’ve felt exhausted, stretched thin, and if I’m completely honest a little disconnected from myself. Questioning my energy. My capacity. Even my direction at times.

And in those moments, I’m reminded of something I tell my clients so often:

We are not machines.
We are nervous systems.

When we’re overwhelmed, depleted or carrying emotional stress, the body holds it. Shoulders tighten. Breath shortens. Sleep becomes restless. We disconnect from ourselves and from others.

This is why therapeutic touch matters so deeply to me.

Safe, intentional touch isn’t just a luxury. It regulates the nervous system. It reminds the body it’s safe. It reconnects us to ourselves. It gently restores a sense of steadiness and self-worth that stress can quietly chip away at.

Taking a step back recently wasn’t about disappearing. It was about tending to my own nervous system so I can continue holding space in a way that feels grounded, present and genuine.

If you’ve been feeling heavy too please know you’re not alone. And please know that your body deserves care, not criticism.

I’m still here. Just moving more gently.

Zoey x 🤍

Many people only think about their wellbeing when something starts to hurt.
But true self-care is about regularly supporting your body and mind, not just reacting when you’re in pain.

Massage, reflexology, and holistic therapies aren’t just for relaxation they can help with:
• Muscle tension
• Stress and anxiety
• Poor sleep
• Headaches
• General fatigue
• Hormonal imbalance

Regular treatments can help your body stay balanced, improve circulation, and give your nervous system the chance to reset.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do… is rest.

If you’ve been feeling run down, tense, or overwhelmed, it might be time to book a little space just for you.

With warmth,

How to Rest on Sundays Without Guilt (Because We’re Still Wintering 🤍)

If you’ve been feeling the pressure to use Sundays to “catch up”, reset your whole life, deep clean the house, meal prep for a week, and become a new person by Monday…

Let me lovingly remind you:
we’re still wintering.

Winter is not the season for constant output.
It’s the season for rest, slowing down, and restoration even if the calendar says we “should” be spring-ready.

Here are a few ways to rest on Sundays without guilt:

✨ 1. Redefine what productivity means
Rest is productive when your nervous system has been running on survival mode all week.

✨ 2. Stop treating rest like a reward
You don’t have to earn it.
You’re allowed to rest simply because you’re human.

✨ 3. Choose one gentle intention
Not a to-do list.
Just one soft thing:
A walk. A bath. A slow breakfast. A book.

✨ 4. Let your body lead
If your body is asking for stillness, listen.
If it’s asking for movement, keep it gentle.
Your body always knows.

✨ 5. Remember: slowing down is not falling behind
Rest doesn’t set you back.
It helps you return to yourself.

This Sunday, you don’t need to “make the most of it.”
You just need to let it be what it is.

Soft. Quiet. Restful.

Because we’re still wintering… and your body deserves that. 🤍

Massage isn’t just for pain 🤍

While massage can be incredibly effective for easing muscular tension and discomfort, its benefits go far beyond pain relief.

Regular massage can:
• Support the nervous system
• Reduce stress and anxiety
• Improve sleep quality
• Enhance circulation and lymphatic flow
• Encourage relaxation and emotional wellbeing

Sometimes the body doesn’t need “fixing” it needs space to rest, reset, and be cared for.

Massage is not only reactive care, it’s preventative, supportive, and deeply nurturing.

Raising a neurodivergent child has taught me more about patience, compassion, and seeing the world differently than anything else ever could.

It’s not about “fixing” or changing who they are it’s about understanding, advocating, and creating a world where they feel safe to be exactly themselves.

Some days are loud. Some days are overwhelming. Some days are beautifully calm and full of joy. All of them are valid.

Neurodiversity isn’t a flaw it’s a different way of thinking, feeling, and experiencing life. And our children deserve to be supported, celebrated, and accepted for who they are. 💛

Wintering- Honouring the Season of Rest ❄️

Winter naturally invites us to slow down. Energy dips, motivation can feel lower, and our bodies often ask for more rest, warmth, and care. This isn’t something to push against it’s something to honour.

✨ Wintering is the practice of allowing yourself to move gently through the colder months, prioritising restoration rather than productivity.

Complementary therapies can beautifully support this seasonal shift:

🌿 Massage therapy helps ease muscular tension, improve circulation, and soothe a nervous system that may feel overstimulated or fatigued.
🌿 Aromatherapy offers emotional grounding and comfort, supporting low mood, stress, and seasonal changes through carefully selected essential oils.
🌿 Reflexology encourages balance within the body, promoting deep relaxation and supporting overall wellbeing.
🌿 Holistic facials provide nurturing care, hydration, and a calming pause especially beneficial when skin and spirits feel dull or depleted.

Winter is not a time for forcing it’s a time for listening, restoring, and replenishing. Giving your body gentle, consistent support now can help you emerge into spring feeling more balanced and resilient.

If you’re feeling called to slow down, your body may already be asking for care 🤍

🌿 Why Beef Tallow Works So Well for Skin 🌿

Beef tallow has a fatty acid profile remarkably similar to our skin’s natural sebum, which means it absorbs easily and helps support the skin barrier rather than disrupting it.

Rich in naturally occurring vitamins A, D, E and K, tallow deeply nourishes dry or compromised skin and helps reduce moisture loss without the need for synthetic additives.

When sourced from grass-fed cattle and gently rendered, it creates a simple, effective balm that many people find calming for sensitive or reactive skin.

I also incorporate carefully selected essential oils, chosen not just for their aroma but for their skin-supportive properties — enhancing nourishment, soothing inflammation, and supporting overall skin health.

Sometimes, skincare works best when it’s uncomplicated.

✨ Best for:
• Dry or mature skin
• Compromised skin barriers
• Sensitive or reactive skin
• Minimalist, ingredient-conscious routines

These have sold so fast this Christmas. Dm to order. 🫶
