Our first FREE trial of Nurokor Pain Management system went really well today. The patient felt immediate pain relief after wearing the product for the full 20 minute cycle and decided to buy and take home. We can’t wait to hear the feedback about how effective it has been for her.

▫️ Information for patients - NHS Wales App ▫️

This post is a demonstration to show our patients how simple it is to request your prescriptions using the NHS Wales App. Once the initial set up has been done, you are able to request repeat prescriptions, and some surgeries will allow you to request acute items and add a note if required.

The majority of surgeries aim to fulfil online requests in 72 working hours.

We have had many positive reviews from patients regarding the App and it would be great to set this up with the Electronic Prescription Service fast approaching.

▫️Why use Electronic Prescription Service? ▫️

IT'S EASIER - there will be no more waiting for prescription requests to be taken to the surgery, no waiting for a prescription to be printed, signed by a GP and transported to the Pharmacy. Once a GP has authorised a prescription, your nominated pharmacy will be able to download your prescription and start working on it.

IT'S SAFE AND SECURE - your prescription can't get lost. The new system includes a prescription tracker which will allow us to track every step of your prescriptions journey from GP surgery to you receiving your prescription.

ECO-FRIENDLY - use of paper will significantly reduce. Our drivers carbon footprint will reduce not having to make as many trips to the surgeries.

If you would like a more efficient way to get a repeat prescription we would highly recommend downloading the NHS Wales App and nominating your pharmacy for the use of Electronic Prescriptions

The NHS funded Common Ailment Service can provide free treatment for Hayfever to include eye drops, steroid nasal sprays and antihistamine tablets. Pop in (no appointment necessary) and ask to speak to one of our Pharmacists.
**We can now give Fexofenadine tablets to anyone over 6yrs, which is likely to be more effective than traditional antihistamines.

We’d like to encourage all our patients to start using the NHS Wales App to order prescriptions. Especially Sully Surgery patients and West Quay patients. Both surgeries will soon be LIVE with Electronic Prescriptions (Sully have been live for a while), and patients using the app to order scripts will make the process as seamless and simple and quick as possible. It’s actually super simple once you’ve set it all up, we’d highly recommend it.
