People in Wales can now track their NHS waiting list progress on the NHS Wales app🙌

The latest update lets people check their waiting list status, view hospital referrals and appointment details, and access information to help manage their health while waiting for treatment.

More than 650,000 people have already registered to use the bilingual app. The app aims to improve access to healthcare services for people registered with a GP in Wales and is a key part of the Welsh Government’s digital transformation strategy for healthcare.

💛 Our Practice Supporting Lisa & Jamaica 🇯🇲

Many of you know our wonderful member of staff - Lisa, who always goes above and beyond for our patients. As a practice, we are proud to support her as she raises funds for communities in Jamaica following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa.

Some families are still without safe housing or running water, and are simply seeking the comfort and peace of home.

Lisa is hosting a fundraising weekend at the end of January. Her goal is to sponsor 3 community drops, each costing around £500, delivering essential supplies directly to those in need. Any additional funds will help her personally take over vital items such as feminine hygiene products, PPE, bags, aprons, and other essentials.

We’ve added a limited amount of specific nurse appointments that can now be booked directly through the NHS App.
Please make sure you only book these appointments for the reason listed, so we can care for everyone safely and efficiently.

✅ Available appointments:
• Asthma / COPD Annual Review only
• Contraceptive Pill Check only
• Smear Test only
• Repeat HRT only

If your reason for booking is different, please choose another appointment type or contact the surgery automated line on 01446 500578, or for advice call the main surgery number 01446 722792.

Please note that if you’re a new patient being referred to a hospital specialist you’ll now be able to view your wait status once the referral has been made by a GP and accepted by secondary care. Unfortunately if you’ve been referred prior to the release of this functionality on the NHS Wales App you will be unable to view your status.
