We’re thrilled to be going to the Vale Flying Start Family Fun Day. It’s a fantastic chance for families to come together, enjoy activities, and make some great memories. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone attending tomorrow.

At the Dewis Cymru stall we will be doing Pebble Painting. So come along and paint your very own pebble with a beautiful design or uplifting message. Then take your painted pebble and hide it somewhere around the Vale of Glamorgan. Once you’ve hidden it, take a picture of your pebble and tag us on Facebook using Cymru Cardiff and Vale, & the Hashtag

If you find someone else’s pebble hide it again for someone else to find. Tag us again in your photos so we can see our wellbeing pebbles travel across the Vale.

Plastics are versatile, useful, and durable components of our everyday life. However, it’s this durability that means they can have a significant negative environmental impact. Research shows that globally less than a fifth of all plastic is recycled.

Wales has often been a front-runner in tackling environmental issues, for example being the first UK nation to introduce the 5p plastic bag charge, and having the first parliament to declare a climate emergency.

Our communities are home to some amazing litter picking groups that help keep our streets, parks, and waterways clean. It’s a great way to make a visible impact, all while supporting the goals of Plastic Free July. Together, we can create cleaner, greener spaces and reduce our reliance on plastic.

World Youth Skills Day is all about equipping young people with essential skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. As the world continues to evolve rapidly, empowering youth with relevant skills is more vital than ever.

Everyone should have the opportunity to discover and develop their talents. Learning isn’t all academic, there are countless skills you can develop, from creative arts to practical skills.

Mae Diwrnod Sgiliau Ieuenctid y Byd i gyd yn ymwneud â rhoi sgiliau hanfodol i bobl ifanc ar gyfer cyflogaeth, entrepreneuriaeth a thwf personol. Wrth i'r byd barhau i esblygu'n gyflym, mae grymuso pobl ifanc â sgiliau perthnasol yn bwysicach nag erioed.

Dylai pawb gael y cyfle i ddarganfod a datblygu eu talentau. Nid yw dysgu i gyd yn academaidd, mae yna sgiliau dirifedi y gallwch eu datblygu, o gelfyddydau creadigol i sgiliau ymarferol.

Llanover Hall serves as a gathering place, a sanctuary, and a launchpad for many creative people. The centre also collaborates with schools, charities, and community groups to ensure that the arts remain accessible to all, particularly those who might otherwise face barriers to participation.

The Live Well, Age Well course helps to support people to live well as they age. We can’t stop the ageing process but there are things that we can do now to help us to age well.

We can make choices that improve our ability to maintain an active life, to do the things we enjoy, and to spend quality time with loved ones.

Live Well, Age Well is currently delivered at four locations with further sites are due to be added in the coming months. People can sign up via self-referral on the Keeping Me Well website, or by calling the numbers on the posters.
