The first week post-show hit hard! My body was holding a ton of water and struggling to digest food properly after prep.

A couple of weeks later, things started to settle and I’m finally feeling normal again 🙌

Now it’s all about rebuilding, slowly increasing calories, reintroducing my favourite foods (that actually have flavour again 😂), and focusing on recovery and balance.

Big triceps = big arms

Triceps make up the majority of your arm size and they’ve got 3 heads: long, lateral, and medial.

👉 The long head runs down the back of your arm. To fully hit it, you need movements that put the arm overhead (think overhead extensions, skull crushers).

👉 The shorter heads (lateral & medial) pop most on the outside. They’re best targeted with pushdowns, close-grip pressing, and dips.

The fundamentals don’t change:
✅ Progressive overload (lift heavier over time)
✅ Enough volume (multiple sets per week)
✅ Mix of compound + isolation work (presses + extensions)
✅ Full range of motion for max stretch & contraction
✅ Fuel & recovery outside the gym 🥩💤

Master the fundamentals, hit all heads, and your triceps will blow up 🚀

Last Sunday I stepped on stage for my first bodybuilding competition 🏆

This moment was the result of months of discipline, early mornings, late nights, and pushing through challenges I never thought I’d face. It wasn’t just about the stage, it was about proving to myself what’s possible when you commit 100%.

The stage lights, the nerves, the adrenaline… all worth it for this feeling. 🙌

I’m so proud of how far I’ve come, but this is just the beginning. The journey continues. 🚀
