What is Tai Chi - Qigong?

The ancient Chinese practices of Tai Chi and Qigong(pronounced CHEE-gung) combine gentle, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises. The great thing about Tai Chi is that it is suitable for all ages and fitness is not required to participate. Many movements can be done sitting down, so if you have reduced mobility, this will not be an issue. I am happy to accommodate people and their individual needs.

Evidence suggests there may be many positive outcomes of Tai Chi such as:

  • Improved balance

  • Improved coordination
