It's that time again where we ask you to nominate us to try and receive £1,000. There are plans to improve the sensory garden of the school. 📸 Tomorrow is School Photo Day! 📸
To help ensure your child is picture-perfect, please remember the following:
If you have any helpful tips or tricks for getting a great photo of your child, please put a note in their home-school book for their teacher.
Photo day is a whole-day activity, so your child’s photo may be taken after lunch.
It might be a good idea to send in a spare top in their bag in case of any lunch or snack time spillages!

It's been culture week at Pioneer this week and today children and staff are invited to dress as different countries or colours of that countries flag.

Was lovely seeing all the different outfits and as always the leadership team putting in a superb effort.

It's that time of year again where the pupils have their Christmas designs in class and parents can now order products from School Fundraising online store.

Friends of Pioneer School Community receive commission on orders placed that goes into our fundraising pot for the school.

Follow the details on the back of the flyer you received to place orders.

If you haven't received your child's form please check with their teacher or pop us a message and we can check if there's a code for your child.

Today is the last day before the pupils break up for half term.

The school held it's annual harvest festival event where parents and carers are invited to go around with the students and visit different activity and food stations representing different countries.

Parents and carers have also been sending in food donations which will be donated to Basildon food bank as voted for by the school council.

The school came first place in the tesco token scheme and we were awarded £1,500 to go towards new bikes and trikes. The school needs larger trikes for the older pupils.

We have purchased one to see how the pupils get on with it.

As you can see it's currently a lot of smaller trikes that are used which cannot be used by the older pupils.

The specialised trikes are thousands of pounds so we've gone for a basic adult trike instead. If the pupils can use it we will purchase some more like this and possibly some smaller sizes.

The pupils love being outside and playing so hopefully this will give more opportunities for the older pupils to not only have fun but work on core skills like balance, coordination and gross motor skills.
