We are very proud to work with the Country’s leading lottery for hospices – the Local Hospice Lottery

The Lottery is a hospice owned collaboration and through hospices working together and sharing one prize fund and one set of costs, our hospice is able to receive more from your £1 entries than we would from running our own lottery.

The Lottery is hospice led, has hospice care at its heart and returns all profits to hospice care. The regular and reliable income the Lottery provides plays a vital role in helping us to keep delivering our essential hospice care in the local community.

Just 1 week to go until the 2026 TCS London Marathon. The big day is nearly here for our amazing runners supporting St. Luke’s Hospice. Meet Luke and Kate, who are running in memory of their friend, Toni.

“Toni was an incredible person who always put the needs of others before her own. In her final days Toni wanted to ensure that the environment she was in was the best possible place for her family to visit as she couldn't go home. St. Luke's Hospice were amazing in ensuring that this became a reality, and enabled Toni to be surrounded by family and friends in her final days, most importantly a safe and human place for her children to visit.

“We felt running the marathon was a great opportunity to show our appreciation to St. Luke’s Hospice for everything they did for Toni and her family in what was a horrific time.”

It takes many dedicated people, all caring together, to make what we do possible.

For many, St. Luke’s Hospice is a constant, reassuring presence, rooted in the communities we serve. Some may assume that we’ll always be here, just as we are now. Unfortunately, the Hospice continues to face significant financial pressures. Recent increases in our essential costs together with continued demand for our services means that in the 2025-26 financial year, we anticipate a financial shortfall in the region of over £350,000.

We can’t do this on our own.

Caring together is the only way we can continue to support the thousands of people in our local community who need us. Will you care with us?
