Thinking about therapy but not sure why, how or what to expect?
Let’s break it down.

Why?
Therapy isn’t just for when everything falls apart. It’s a space to learn, heal, and grow.
It’s an act of courage.
It’s a space where you get to untangle your thoughts, explore your feelings, and learn new tools to navigate life.

What?
It can help you:
• Build healthier relationships
• Understand your triggers and patterns
• Heal old wounds
• Develop self-compassion
• Strengthen your boundaries

How?
Step 1: Find a therapist
Step 2: Book a session
Step 3: Choose in-person or online
Step 4: Show up as you are
Step 5: Keep going—healing takes time

Choosing to go to therapy means you’re investing in you 🫶🏼
And that’s something to be proud of.

To save you the search though 😌

5 signs you might be a people pleaser.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sick of bending over backwards for everyone to just feel depleted?

Fed up of saying YES when you really wanna just say NO?

Always hiding parts of yourself to appear more ‘put together’ or performing for others approval?

Then you’re probably people pleasing.
But it’s ok… people pleasing is a HABIT and can totally be unlearned once we understand WHY we do it, WHAT we gain from it and HOW to heal from it.

We do not heal by thinking.
Get out of your head.
The overthinking, ruminating thoughts and spirals. It’s exhausting huh?

You gotta feel it to heal it hun.

Learn to reconnect with your body.
Spend time with yourself… No distractions.

Less “but others have it worse”
More “that sounds really painful”

One sounds disconnecting and quite shaming in moments of vulnerability.

The latter feels more connecting and collaborative and shows empathy to another’s suffering.

5 signs you may have unhealed trauma.

You’re Easily Triggered
Small things can cause big reactions
- anger, tears, panic - that feel hard to control.

You Struggle to Trust Others (and yourself)
Even when someone seems safe, you expect the worst or feel guarded.

You Numb Out or Feel
Disconnected
You feel emotionally distant, like you’re watching life instead of living

You’re Always on Edge
You constantly feel anxious or like something bad is about to happen
- even when things seem fine.

You Relive the Past
Unwanted memories, flashbacks, or nightmares feel vivid - like the trauma is still happening.

You’re Not Broken - You’re Wounded
Healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.
Save this for later or share with someone who needs it.

For ‘The Wild One’, ‘The Wild Child’ or ‘The out of control’ one.

There’s a part of you that was never meant to be tamed.
She laughs too loud.
She dances barefoot.
She trusts her instincts.
The part of you that remembers who you were before the world told you who to be.
She is fierce. Untamed. Sensual. Brave. Curious.
She doesn’t apologize for her magic.
But maybe she was shamed, punished, or told to “quiet down.”
Maybe she learned to play small to stay safe.
Let her speak.
Let her create.
Let her rage.
Let her lead you home.

Your trauma is valid.

If it hurt you.
If it shaped you.
If it lives in your body - It’s valid.

What is Trauma, Really?

Trauma isn’t what happens to you.
It’s what happens inside you as a result of what happened.

Trauma isn’t just about a major event—it’s about how your nervous system was affected.
You could have grown up in a seemingly “normal” home and still carry trauma in your body.
Let’s normalise understanding trauma for what it really is: a nervous system wound, not a weakness.

Three signs you might be struggling with poor body image:

1. You Constantly Check or Critique Your Appearance
Mirror-checking, body comparisons, or zooming in on flaws is a daily habit.

✅ Try this:
Practice body neutrality. Focus on what your body does, not how it looks.

2. Negative Self-Talk is Your Default
You call yourself names, joke about your body, or feel ashamed of how you look.

✅ Try this:
Notice the voice. Would you speak that way to a friend? Start replacing harsh thoughts with neutral or kind ones.

3. You Avoid Experiences Because of Your Body
Skipping photos, beach days, or dating — waiting until you “look better” first.

✅ Try this:
Take the action anyway. Confidence builds through doing, not waiting.

You Deserve to Feel at Home in Your Body
Healing body image isn’t about loving every part — it’s about building respect, compassion, and freedom.

👉 Save & share if this hit home. You’re not alone.
